KER-CHESS!

I've invented a new game for people stricken with KingOfTheHill-ism.
KER-CHESS!
Set up a chess board as normal.
Roll 1d6
1 Pawn
2 Rook
3 Knight
4 Bishop
5 Queen
6 King
Opponent loses 1 of the type of piece rolled.
If none exist, remove a lower numbered piece.

Do you still play chess when this is happening?
And also, technically a rook is worth just as much as a bishop and a knight is lower.

No, you just set up the board, roll dice and remove pieces. There is no need to move them, that would require thinking and slow down the game.

Yeah I figured that there are accepted values on those, I just didnt care. So I did it graphically, from the left/right edge of the board to the center.

but with the king being worthless (and even more worthless as a piece for takeing) where do you put it?

You'll have to put up a notice about choking hazards. You don't want any lawsuits. Otherwise, great game. Really enjoyable.

What are you even on about? If you take the king you win the game of chess, how is that worthless?

YOU CAN NOT TAKE THE KING IN CHESS!
By "worthless piece for takeing" i meant that using the king to take other pieces is hard and us pointless and it can make it easyer for the enemy to check mate your king.
If the your king is in check then you HAVE TOO move it out of check, if it's in check mate then it's game over, if all pieces OTHER than the king have been taken then it's game over.
The kind is worthless since you have to protect him all the time, and he can only move 1 square in any direction.

The values in chess aren't necessarily about how useful a piece is, because plenty of people can use a knight just as well as a bishop or rook. Also, just because a piece is not useful doesn't mean it's worthless. The king is worth more than any other piece. I understood what you meant by "a worthless piece for taking," but in no way is the king worthless.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_piece_relative_value
EDIT: And yes, I realize that the king is not on there, but that's because when you declare that you can take the king whenever the hell you want and they can't do anything at all, you win anyway.
DOUBLE EDIT: Okay, you're right, a king can't be taken, sorry.

If I were playing either of you two at this game I know just exactly where I would be shoving the queen right now.

I enjoy talking about things sometimes without screaming words and killing things.

But chess is a war game, so you need to do a battle cry when takeing, so chess involves killing and shouting!
