oh, I thought it was supposed to be the blood of the innocents.
Lava works too.
Maybe it's toxic super-heated molten haunted blood plasma of the innocents (from concentrate).
I say haunted because ghosts come out and pull you in if you get too close.

PS: please brikwars GODS don't punish me for saying that it's just that when Almighty Benny said it wasn't a lava pool but blood I got scared. Not really. BrickQuest is like D&D with minifigs and simplified rules.
