D&D competitive play

Post by Scottsamn » Mon Jun 28, 2010 12:09 am

Hello, fellow brikwarriors. what we need is a more different and personal way to kill each other. so, through the magic of an instant messaging program (could use suggestions for a program), I plan to run a competitive game of D&D, with 2 groups pitted against each other.Groups will be decided by me and will begin the game in locations unknown to the other group. It will still be open ended and everything, mainly to foster interesting and hilarious deaths of the players. It will be group 1 and group 2. It will be run in 3.5 edition, and you can reach me at [email protected] to send me things such as messages and files containing character sheets, it shouldn't be to hard to find some character generating program over the internet. level 10 for those interested, and you may join at any time. Oh, and find something more imaginative than charging headlong into the opposing group. If you would like more details, post a comment.

Gee TC, thanks for the list of demands.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

all i gotta say is dragonbone greatbow with far shot and the ranged magical ability gives it a range increment of 450. combination of cragtops archer abilities- arcing shot (gives bow 15 increments) and horizon shot (use full round action to make one attack with now range penalty- 450 times 15 eguals 6750 foot range with no penalty.. my favorite class... did i mention that goliaths can use large weapons thanks to the mountrous build class feature. i would also like to point out that goliaths are legit base races (check races of stone) i should be able to but on a few other things to give it a damage of 5d6+ 6-7, depending on how lucky i roll.

Well that was excessive.

What happened to the level adjustments for goliaths and half-dragons? You should only get six character levels after that, not ten.

I get the impression this guy will do poorly against any stealth-oriented characters. A shadowdancer/assassin would take him right out.
