Anybody know any good RPGs?

For all those games that happen to not be BrikWars

[pun]Have you tried the kind seen in back to the future in the poening? they seem to make a big boom.[/pun]

I might recomend something like deus ex, or possibly a dues ex mod known as the nameless mod. both are fun, flexible, and full of everything we as brikwarriors crave. including explosions. definatly explosions.

Baldur's gate it will be very hard for you to find and it is very old, but it is like unbelievably freaking amazing, and is based of the DnD rules and the forgoten realms world.

Dragon Age is the closest thing I've seen to Baldur's Gate in a long time, it's great stuff. I hope the sequel is as good.

Try Oblivion or Fallout 3. Or you can play the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series, it's really good.

Well you said Final Fantasy, so I guess if you're into JRPGs instead of real RPGs then the game you need to play is definitely Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden -- Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa. Or Dwarf Fortress.

You might try Fire Emblem. It's not an RPG, per se, but it's fun.

You might consider other genres as well. I, personally, prefer wargames and adventures.

Fuck that shit. Go with Fallout 1 or 2 or Morrowind. Actually, I like Oblivion a lot for what it is... It just doesn't hold a candle to it's predecessor, in my opinion. Also, Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is a really fun, really deep RPG made by several of the same people who created the original Fallout games. It's only problem is a somewhat shitty combat system. I still love it for the setting and the unique dichotomies of not only good and evil, but technology and magic that the game presents.

You might also try the best Final Fantasy game, which would be FF6, for Super Nintendo. I play it on an emulator because I'm not cool enough to own an SNES.

THIS USER AGREES, not to mention Fallout tactics, as for RPG's? for a free one try dwarf fortress (already been recoomended) or the hilariously simple yet addictive castle of the winds.

YEAH! HIGH FIVES!

However, I wouldn't call DF an RPG so much as an open-ended sandbox simulation game, with a minor RPG element inherent in the rouge-like "Adventure" mode. Either way, that game does deserve to be weaseled in any way possible, even if it's in a completely unrelated genre.

Hey, you guys know any good razgrizzly RTS style shootemups?

...

Dwarf Fortress? Excellent! I shall give it a try immediatly.

(the sad thing is that by bending the rules, you could conceivably describe DF like that. Catmen ambushing your crossbowdwarf squad.)

I meant to say all the fallout games, but I don't know what system you use, Fallout 3 is just easier to find. I can only find fallout 1 and 2 on steam.
