Anyone play on the PS3? I need some squadies damnit!

PCFag: I just bought a $600 computer!

PCFag: My computer can no longer run any new video games and I don't have the money to buy a new one.
consolefag: i haz HALOZ and COD and BATELFILED!!1!!1!!!

But your versions *of* those games are far inferior to the PC users, seeing as they are using primitive hardware. The PC user could still run the games just the same as you do, but what they are missing is that extra level of awesome that makes it worth doing.

Consolefag: I can play on my friends' stuff because I have no money for fancy computers! Win-win!
PCFag: My friends won't even let me on their computer because they're afraid I'll find their midget pr0n stash. Lose-lose.

Plus, because of consoles, my Friday nights are always spent like this:

PCFag: Um, my game doesn't work. Let's see install drivers, install DirectX10, update DirectX9, update patches, reinstall game, install custom patches, modify firewall...

< Is not in college and does not frequent LANs, which are much better with Quake anyways.

It's in my hometown in my friend's basement. We play online, but squadded up and dominate because we can just yell back and forth to each other. We usually have 6 or 8 people playing at once on counches and recliners.

We used to have LAN parties for CoD:UO back when I was in highschool, but believe me, being able to sit on a couch all night and play on a six foot screen is way more awesome.

It's like playing Halo:CE on a big screen TV with 3 friends. Those games were some of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had.

Yea! Or two TVs back to back, 4 vs. 4.

Sadly, I was never able to participate in one of those, but I can only imagine.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever witnessed people actually use System Link.

I've had tons of fun playing co-op games, on the PC and elsewhere (once on the subway, strangely enough), but four people is not the same as twenty or so.
