For those of you who arn't aware of it, Its Dawn of war, But world war 2
Image
This is pretty much as much as it could be explained in one picture. but it also has a load of stuff that's (as far as i know) unique, Such as A EXP unlock system during the game, (unlocks special ability, off map reinforcements, artillery strikes ect) and the ability to rob discarded weapons, including LMG's Rocket launchers and AT guns.

Ohai, COH veteran speaking. Been playing since 2007 or whenever it was that it came out. Do people still play this? I'd reinstall it but I don't want to re-download all of the patches YET AGAIN.

Also some lord of the rings RTS has a similar XP ability unlock system.

Also also, mine flail is definitely the best vehicle upgrade simply because you can run over infantry with them and insta-gib

I love that game. Another good source of bloody chunks is the Stuart Tank's canister shot. The ability to loot discarded heavy weapons is one of my favorite features, because then you can have your officers run around with machineguns and rocket launchers.

The best part about a Lieutenant with a panzershrek is definitely the tie he wears.

I love this game; it's a lot of fun. I like using sandbags, tank traps, and barbed wire to funnel the enemies into death traps. A couple of good veteran mortar teams can be a lot of fun too :D

I just beat the Caen campaign. Captain Cutting lead the attack, with his trusty Panzershreck in hand. Another shining moment for him was when he was ambushed while clearing an airfield, but held off his attackers with an MG42 until my tanks arrived.

But is it as good as the put-explosives-on-all-the-bridges-and-buildings trick?

Honestly I feel like I never have enough time to set up stuff like this in most online games though, I just slap some MP40s in some shitty volks squad and all of the sudden there's no more shitty american riflemen to worry about.

Never played it online but if it's anything like past RTS games.... yeah... humans don't fall for these stupid tricks. =P Only works on the boneriffic AI enemies.

AU CONTRAIRE, noobs fall for it all the time. one of my friends used to load up literally every single building with explosives, and would just let his dudes wander around outside of "strategically super-awesome" looking buildings. They'd pop an MG42 or something in there and BOOM! no more gunner squad, more than likely no more building too.
