Round 6
Rebels - Moronstudios

The spellcasters started out focusing their magic on the bold human attacking their avatar. They did pretty well, calling down a rock worth 3d6 damage. I however once again rolled for shit, throwing 2 1's, so no damage.

The rebel leader, alerted by the clap the fall of the avatar had brought, turned at the beast.
Valarius: "What's wrong with you?! You are supreme! Prove it and crush these fools!"
Focusing his power, he enraged the beast, increasing its attack damage, and closed its wounds. (critical succes!)

The battle raged on without casualties, but the heavy did disarm himself because of a crit fail.

Valarius finally destroyed a skeleton.

The chieftain thrust his halberd past instead of into his opponent's face.

The banner was felled!

The avatar got up and slapped the purple mage away like a bug with his sword. He was barely saved by the shield he had cast before but still took a hit from the falling damage. Marnix barely hung on by his chain.

The Bullbeast scrambled up, realizing it was under attack and near death.

The crossbowman didn't get as lucky as to damage the purple mage again.
Loyalists - solvess

Marnix tried to use his massive strength to climb up to the avatar's head, where he could get a clear shot at it.

He lost his grip and took a hit from the falling damage, however.

The swordsmen kept fighting the Bullbeast, but it fended them off with its large axe. (note: they won't have the extra fire damage anymore next round)

Three crossbowmen combined on the lone phalanx to avenge their fallen banner but bull crossbowmen and screwing up, ah, you know the story...

More crit fail in this duel: the general decided to make his role of counterpart of the Bullbeast true and cut off his own hand as well rather than finish off his unarmed opponent.

The other crossbowmen at least killed the rebel crossbowmen that had sneaked in behind them.
(Should you be wondering, Phalanx failed again, staying true to this round's tenure)
Xalen - Silverdream

Xalen called his horse, and the horse leaped over the combatants...

He then picked up the bladed part of his broken weapon and struck at a phalanx, barely failing to do enough damage to slay him.

The skeleton kept doing all it could, but logically its axe couldn't make it past Valarius' tough defences.
Purple Mages - Ross_Varn

The mage got up, dazed, unable to do anything but collect his wand.

The headmaster tried to weave an arcane spell...

And froze himself in an ice cube... so he can't move until they've gone. Ice has 1d6 structure level and the character inside is freed if it's destroyed, but beware, any damage left over from attacking the ice wall will strike into the fig within!
