The Siege of the Dunlan Fortress - Turn 6

Post by Joshua » Mon Sep 06, 2021 8:46 am

I apologize this took so long to post, school started, and time flew by! Anyway, without further ado:

Sir John Lannister - Me

Image
Sir John continues to gallop away from the Oliphant, decapitating a skeleton along the way.

Image
He ends up over here.

Lillian Windstrider - Bragallot

Image
Lillian tries to attack the Skeletal Angel and Wraith but misses or doesn't do enough damage.

Uruk-hai and Easterlings - Scribonius

Image
The Uruk-hai on the ladder tries to attack the halberdier, but gets parried.

Image
The two Easterlings on the ground throw their spears at the knight guarding the secret entrance.

Image
One misses, but the knight uses his action to block the other.

Image
Since the knight used his action, the Easterlings run up and shiv him in the guts.

Image
The Easterlings have breached the fortress!

Image
The Oliphant charges at the heavy cavalry, bellowing all the way!

Image
One horse is obliterated, knocking the knight off, disrupting him.

Image
The leader and red knights manage to keep their horses from panicking, but blue's horse goes berserk! It gallops forward, kicking and bucking. The blue knight manages to hold on, but has lost his action for this round.

I rolled a d6 for this, 1-2 the horse freaks out, 3-4 the horse panics and gallops forward, and 5-6 the rider calms his horse.

Image
An Easterling takes a potshot at the blue knight, but can't overcome his armor.

Undead - falk (NPC this round)

Image

Image
The Wraith and Orc officer both attack the blue-plumed halberdier, but fail to kill him.

Image
The Demon manages to strike the Garrison Commander, knocking off an HP! The Commander's counter was blocked.

Image
The Angel attacks Lillian, but rolls a pathetic amount of damage.

Image
It then flies over towards the Demon.

Image
These two pick themselves up, and combine fire on the blue knight...

Image
And manage to kill him outright!

Image
The armored skeleton picks itself up while the crossbow armed skeleton moves over to the drawbridge.

Image
The crossbow skeleton fails to hit, again, and the armored awaits the Black Knight's inevitable charge.

Image
These greenskins sprint forward.

Black Knights - Degener@te

Image
The red knight kills another Bull Knight.

Image
The officer charges...

Image
And mortally wounds the still-burning Cedric!

Image
The yellow knight grabs his fallen lance,

Image
And races over to riderless horse.

Image
Before mounting up.

Image
The other knights still had some movement left, so they ride forward.

Image
The Garrison Commander stabs the Demon, but can't pierce his thick skin.

Image
The Demon's counter, however, does.

Image
The Commander slumps back, mortally wounded. 'cough' "You may have beaten me, but you will not..." ' cough' "be victorious. My men will..." 'cough' "fight to the death."

"We shall see, fool." The Demon hisses.

Image
The yellow-plumed halberdier attacks the Wraith, and kills it!

Image
Both the archer and crossbowman attack the Angel, but miss.

Image
The other halberdier attacks the orc officer, and after a failed parry, kills him.

Image
The bad-ass spearman goes over and retrieves his spear.

Image
The two remaining swordsmen run over and gang up on the Demon.

Image
And due to a massive damage roll, massacre him!

Image
And lastly, the white-plumed halberdier stabs the Uruk-hai right in the eyes, killing him.

Bull Knights - my brother

Image
The Bull Knight manning the catapult runs over towards Cedric.

I forgot to take an overwatch pic for this round, sorry!

Faction Stats:

Sorry! The battlefield was starting to take up valuable space, and the attackers were almost out of units anyway, so...
