The Immortal Legionnaires assemble a Shield Wall and advance on the oblique toward the defenses.
A flurry of response fire greets them.
Bullets slam harmlessly into the heavy shields of the line.
That isn't the only threat to the line, however.
Boom! A direct hit!
The damage, successfully parried, leaves three Legionnaires disrupted, but otherwise unharmed.
Now it's the Immortals turn, a crit fail blows up one of the officer's guns.
In all, only one Luchardsko soldier is killed. First Blood!
The Immortals get the First Blood Benny!
Eldon charges into the Skion response...
And heroically deflects all the damage!
The troops behind advance into cover, the infantry fire wasn't enough to hurt anyone.
The rocket launcher, however, was successful.
Two Skion die.
The Terrorkhan advance, but are also unable to do any substantial damage.
Here come the Brootalz!
The Dominion Sniper shoots first, claiming a kill.
The rest of the line and Brootalz add their own weapons to the chorus (all the Brootalz got to shoot, I just didn't add FX).
They each score a kill, but Something Bad destroys one of the Brootalz guns.
The heavy mortar fires toward the Brootalz while Dienekes quickly advances that direction.
The explosion is a wild success.
Only one Brootal remains.
"Oi!" he exclaims, "this ain't krumpin' fair!"
"Hey! 'oo said yer kould die so quick!"
A Brootalz War Manager appears to reinforce the beleaguered bois, with a few more in tow.
These engineers prepare a machine gun nest while Artor leads some Phalanxes toward the fighting.
The other two reinforce the opposite flank.
