The calculi book it up a hill, ready to retaliate
THE RONIN
Unbothered by orc-con, the ronin rush towards the Morloch, whom they consider evil on the basis of pure aesthetics. Ristus is just barely out of range to do his attack. But he’s ready for blood. He’s followed by two of the razors

The low orcs charge up but are unable to get in range for an attack

The whispered sprint past the current demon vs orc carnage. they have the ronin in their sights

Division 41 engages the orcs
Willis pulls a grenade out from somewhere suspicious
The blast kills one orc and disrupts another,
meanwhile one of the troopers attempts to climb up the cliff face, he offers the calculi an alliance
THE MORLOCH
Enraged by the death of his trooper, Ta'roth runs towards the orcs, screaming in an ancient tongue
A flame wall bursts forth from the ground, Mogn survives but is lit on fire, he'll take fire damage at the end of each turn while ablaze

The dead demons blood coagulates into a gobbler. and he's hungry for orc blood

meanwhile Mogn and ta'roth have an extremely intense staredown
Ta'roth blinks and Mogn hoists him up, intending to make a delicious demon kebob
now both are on fire.
Calculi Cultists
Paradigm and his troops take the ridge.
one of the troopers acquires some TNT
he should really learn how to throw tho
BOOM! The blast is huge anyway, still managing to clip and kill one of
omnitech's forks. sending blood and circuitry everywhere.
THE RONIN
the razors are still out of range, but Ristus Pulls the cow skull out of the ground,
he's been waiting for this since the start of the game
he intends to use it on an unsuspecting demon
he over the tops and the hit goes through the demon, and through the rock.
induced coma
he immediately starts rushin towards the crabs at insane speed
he vomits an acidic blue goo all over the place.
and quite unimpressed.
the acid leaves a field hazard behind.
LOW ORCS
Gromilda Trades her ranged weapon for somethin a little more personal.
More movement towards the demons, two are in range for attack.
both shots miss the gobbler. sneaky little bastard
Gromilda rolls a solid 'no fucks given' and walks right over the acid undamaged
Schmichael becomes enraged at being ignored by everyone
and takes a swipe at one of the orcs
this does not go well however, and the orc blows off one of his arms in
a response action.
BATTLE CRABS
the orc was fish slapped into a puddle
having been forgotten by the gods that lead him, the whisperer gets up
from his droning,

the division opens fire on the orcs...
...more or less, one shot hits ta'roth in the foot, the other hits mogn in the side, neither
do any damage
the other grunt completes his mountain climb, ready to assist the cultists
Willis heads over to the drone engine and starts tinkering away
the feat is successful, and the engine roars to life, it'll come down at the end
of next turn.
THE MORLOCH
the demons are angry
the last remaining trooper and the gobbler attack Mogn together.
Mogn’s apparent resistance to everything finally fails (as does his last troopers redshirt roll) as the combined attack brings him down. Mogn dies to the morloch, cursing the little goblin as he does
Ta'roth recovers from his kebobing and attacks the last rust orc,
it's an instant kill, and a gobbler bursts from the body as it expodes.

The skull speaks! Of wonderful things. Ice cream. And children and arson.
“Take me to the acid” it says
Ristis tosses it to Mctrippy who places it in the acid
McTrippy also falls in though (RIP)
And a new horror is Born
An acidic skull crawler is summoned to the battlefield
(he immediately kills an orc)
Ristus Tests a crabs mortality by shooting him in the back.

It crit fails, and explodes on the spot, Wilis, Ta'roth, and the gobbler that was
literally JUST summoned all die in the blast
Having seen their childhood hero get vaporized 2 feet away from them, the division contractors are unable to hit their targets,
MORLOCH
The gobbler latches on to gromilda, trying to pull her into blast range
The Demon takes a shot at div 41 and then ducks behind cover
(GM notes the strange situational awareness displayed by the demons, no one elses
seems to believe in the massive engine about to barrel down on the battlefield)
OMNITECH
The fork and mountain dude exchange misses
Node: zero digs deep into her knowledge of retro rpgs
And attempts a summon
A portal opens
And cyan garamonde from FF6 comes through
he strikes down a cultist
E.A.D.
taking a moment to observe what's happening, the EAD leap into action
Elenora scales the mountain and begins spinning her twinblade
a tornado forms, pulling trees, and orc, and schmichael into the air
The activists have very little trouble hitting the now airborne orc. he dies I a glorious
display of blood. (Most metal death this game so far)
THE ENGINE OF DOOM
after spending a nice turn in the air, the engine descends on the battlefield
rolling 24 damage, it annihilates everything in its blast radius, Gromilda is vaporized
as is the gobbler that was holding her down and the razor that was thrown towards the tree

Trusting it to take her where she needs to go, Elenora leaps into the tornado
The elements bend to her will, and she lands square on the head of the skullcrawler,
impaling it with her twinblade.
