
Harrier Scout: Commander Alice! We've finally found a landmark. It appears to be a forest temple of some sort.
Cmdr. Alice: About time. We've been wandering lost in this accursed forest for almost a week. By every map we should have come out the other side days ago. We need to get through so we can continue our campaign of vengeance against the Bubblegum Banshees!

Alice: Looks pretty empty to me. Wonder if we can find a map inside.

Meanwhile, a troop of Fine Forest Fellows stumble across the temple, led by legendary outlaw Robbin' the Hood!
Robbin: Hi Ho! We certainly aren't lost, no no! We feel right at home in this spooky infinite forest, yes sir!
Fine Forest Fellow #3: I think all the trees are messing with the boss' head.
Fine Forest Fellow #5: We have to get the hell out of here, pronto.

????: Oho, we have guests! Places, everyone!

Down from the temple comes a chipper little gnome in a fine tweed vest.
Gnome: Welcome ye travelers, from near and far! It seems you may not know just where you all are. My names Blimey Blarney, and I'll give you a clue: this forest ain't feeling too friendly towards you! But if freedom from faewild be what you all seek, then come to the temple and have a quick peek!

Blimey Blarney: Inside there's a statue you may want to see. The first one to touch it will get to go free! You're under a curse that keeps you stuck here, but with that grand statue there's nothing to fear! But the good statue's blessing will only come once, so the last person there's gonna feel like a dunce!

Blimey Blarney: And here's one thing more I should probably say: the guardians here want to keep you away! If you can get past them (those spears ain't no jape!) then maybe, just maybe, you'll get to escape!

Alice: I have to ask. Did you write all that out ahead of time?
Blimey Blarney: No showman would ever so cheaply reveal what makes his performances seem just so real.

Blimey Blarney: Farewell weary travelers, it's your lucky day. Just reach reach that old statue and you're off and away!
Harrier Scout: Okay dude it's starting to get annoying now.

Meanwhile, in the caverns beneath the forest temple, Jeffrey the Jester is up to something fiendish.

Jeffrey: This looks like a good spot. FIRE PORTAL! FWOOSH!!

Jeffrey: That ought to do it. Cpt Fluffypuppy owes me big for this one....

With a puff of smoke and a raucous cackle he vanishes.

But then fire demons begin pouring out of the portal!
Scylla: Look out flammable beings, We are Pentagram and we are gonna melt your faces off! ONE TWO THREE FOUR *blistering heavy metal solo*

Dwarf soldier #1: Kids these days don't know what good music is.
Dwarf soldier #2: What? I can't hear you!

The dwarves gather to defend against the incoming swarm of fire demons.

Meanwhile the Dwellers in the Forest take up positions to protect their sacred statue.

Two more elven archers stand guard around the Wood Wizard in the attic.

Elven Lancers, Elven Archers, Flower Folk, Centaur Chargers, a Fae Bard (healer/support class), a Wood Wizard with his Stone Golem (currently not spawned, can be summoned at will at the Wood Wizard's location), and hero the Warden of the Forest with the Spirit of Decay cliche. No reinforcements.

The Dwarven Defenders (Allied with the Dwellers in the Forest)
Objective: Defend the forest temple! -Joshua
Dwarf Musketeers, Dwarf Infantry, Cow-valry Charger, Gnome Tinkerers, and hero Blimey Blarney with the Mischevous Leprechaun cliche. You start with the Cow-valry Charger, three Musketeers, two Infantry, four Gnome Tinkerers, and Blimey. Reinforcements on turn three.

The Hot & Spicy Legion (Heavy Metal Division)
Objective: Burn down the forest! -Bragallot
Spear Grunts, Heavy Grunts, Crossbow Grunts, a Fire Troll, and hero trio Scylla, Scotty, and Satan, aka Pentagram, with the SUPER Heavy Metal cliche. All three are considered one hero unit and can only perform one heroic action between the three of them per turn. 1-3 new demons will spawn from the portal at the end of each turn until all forces are exhausted.
