TURN FIVE
Hot & Spicy Legion:
The Fire Troll unleashes a mighty Fire Burp on the cowvalry rider.
The rider survives but is now on fire.
Resurrected Scylla starts a solo!!
Shake your heads 'till your necks are breaking
Shake your heads 'till your brains are burning
The dwarves headbang so furiously that two of their heads go flying off! [Feat successful!]
The heavies attempt to spear Blimey but he survives
Cowvalry rider parries an attack from this dude
Gorkul the demon barber demonstrates his lackluster skills at archery and misses point blank. Hey, he graduated with an MFA in haircutting, not throatcutting
Dwarven Defenders:
Blimey Blarney attempts to summon a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but rainbows can't form underground, and he just gets an empty pot. [Feat failed!]
Umbrella gun still doing work tho
Musketeer also misses point blank, to be gentlemanly (jk his aim sucks)
The last melee dwarf is so dizzy from headbanging that he critfails and falls on his face while attempting to attack
Ignoring the fact that he is on fire, cowvalry rider hurls his ax!
SQUELCH!! a critical hit turns fire troll's face into steaming mulch!
Gnome dude still faithfully standing guard
The Fine Forest Fellows:
Robbin' the Hood goes for a sweet aerial flip
Aaaaand falls on his dumb face [Feat failed!]
The rest of the fellows gang up on the Forest Warden. With no allies in range to redshirt for him, the hero goes down!
The Dwellers in the Forest:
Elven archer: FINALLY something is in range!
After holding their actions for like forever they potshot the disrupted Robbin and he dies an ignoble death.
The lancers take up defensive positions just inside the forest temple.
The other two archers descend from their posts up in the attic.
Realizing she's exposed in the middle of the enemy, the fae bard flutters back to safety.
The Heavy Metal Harriers: (NPC'd)
Alice moves up and slaughters a forest fellow from behind.
Harrier regulars take out two more forest fellows.
The rest advance but there's so much carnage on the field by now that they can't get very far. The horses in particular struggle over the golem's corpse.
The last two fire demon reinforcements arrive, an archer and a heavy.
OVERWATCH SHOTS!!
REMAINING FORCES:
Harriers: two regulars, two mage knights, two mounted knights, and Alice
Forest Fellows: two swordsmen and one archer
Fire Legion: two heavy grunts, two archers, one spearman, and Scylla
Dwarven Defenders: two dwarf infantry (one on fire), one dwarf musketeer, one gnome, and Blimey
Dwellers in the Forest: four elven archers (two in the temple), three elven lancers (all in the temple), a fae bard, and a faun charger (also in the temple).
Forest Fellows are nearest to the temple but not many of them remain! SEND ORDERS FOR TURN SIX!!!

Fine Forest Fellows
Having slain the Warden of the Forest, one of the fellows steals his skeletal horse.
To the statue!!
Alack! Elvish warriors wait within the temple. He slays one!
The other two fellows eliminate two Harriers
THE DWARVEN DEFENDERS
Blimey tries to fire his umbrella gun but critfails and drops it.
He then pulls out a record player and starts a lively irish jig. The jaunty tune utterly baffles the fire demons, who have never heard anything besides heavy metal, leaving them all confused!
Still on fire cowvalry rider takes advantage of the confusion to yoink the spear out of his enemy's hands
Down goes spear grunt
The other two guys attack Scylla but Gorkul the demon barber redshirts for her.
HOT & SPICY LEGION
Scylla: dude that helmet is fucking metal! Gimme!!
She steals the dwarf's helmet, tearing off his head in the process.
The heavy grunts try to hook Blimey down off the platform, but he's too slippery for them.
This archer advances and takes out the cowvalry rider from behind.
THE DWELLERS IN THE FOREST
The three remaining lancers gang up on the forest fellow and spear him to death.
The fae bard flutters high into the air and begins a deadly song, one meant to turn allies against each other!
Two archers advance towards the battle below.
HEAVY METAL HARRIERS
Alice hurls her war axe.
A direct hit clobbers the fae bard in the middle of her high note!
One mage knight takes out the last sword fellow.
The other mage knight fails to take out the archer.
Harrier cavalry advance up the hill. This provokes attacks from the archers in waiting, but their armor protects them.
OVERWATCH SHOTS
REMAINING FORCES:
Harriers: two mage knights, two mounted knights, and Alice
Forest Fellows: one archer (LAST MAN STANDING!!)
Fire Legion: two heavy grunts, one archer, and Scylla
Dwarven Defenders: one dwarf musketeer, one gnome, and Blimey
Dwellers in the Forest: four elven archers, two elven lancers (in the temple), and a faun charger (also in the temple).
Sorry this turn took so long, hopefully I'll get them out faster now. Harriers have been NPC'd for the last several turns so if anyone wants to pick them up for the finale, let me know! Send orders for turn 7!!!
