Teleportations
Another group seems to be teleporting in.
Immortal Terrorkhan materialize...
Followed by a group of Legionnaires.
"Alright Guys, you know what we're here for! Get that artifact. Let nothing stop you!"
Demons - Group One
The Revenants react to the intruders first. The one closest to the Hero group fires a missile towards one of the Skion Troopers.
The Soldier manages to jump out of the way in time though.
Another Revenant on the other side of the battlefield tries to shoot the Immortals, but his missile just bounces off a Terrorkhan's armor.
The other Revenant stays where it is.
MadMario's Mercs
The Mercanaries run towards the Teleporter.
"That Turret Skeleton has to go!"
MadMario throws his spear at the Revenant that shot at Skion before.
It flies toward the Skeleton...
Missing it by a hair...
Into a Teleport...
And gets warped away...
To the other red teleporter.
And into the blue one below.
Out of the other blue one and back into the red
Towards the Revenant again
Nearly hitting the demon
And ramming into the rock near MadMario.
"That... what just happened?"
"Someone please get that demon!"
His Mercenaries shoot at the Revenant and one of the nearby Zombiemen.
The Revenant gets knocked down by the Medic's Crossbow and a few Blaster shots
While the other Mercs miss completely and shoot my lamp. Thanks, Morons.
The Cult of Cain
"I will use my magic to send our Sniper to the teleport up there!"
"Hey, what the... give me my gun back!"
"Whoops, wrong Sniper"
While Buzz is failing miserably, Gunter and a bunch of Cultists run towards the House of Pain.
The Rest of the Cultist gather around the embarassed Sawceres and Sniperless Steve.
"Why do I have to work with you Morons?
"Brootals
"Lez show this puny wizard woman how to get t' high ground. You! C'mere!"
"Oy, Boss, I don' think that's a good ideaaaaaaaaaaa"
Thud
"Oh... me 'ead..."
The rest of the Brootals split up. A handful of them hides behind the House of Pain...
While the rest of them follow their Boss towards the orange teleport.
Immortals
The Immortals charge over the bridge, their Commander decapitating a Zombie in the process.
(note: the Legionnaire Commander is not the hero, the Terrorkhan Lady is. probably should've specified that earlier)
The Terrorkhan fly off and land on the upper platform.
Congratulations, that was the first sucessfull Heroic Feat this battle.
Studland
"We're in Hell, right? Surely giant Skull-shaped buildings can talk"
"I don't think..."
"Oh great Skull House, we come here in search of a Chainsaw! What is the fastest way there?"
"A Chainsaw you say? Yes, I've seen one."
"Well, I'll be damned"
"That guy right there has one."
"That's... not helpful."
The Studlanders meanwhile marched forward and shoot one of the Zombies. The undead Soldier looses his "un-".
"oof, me 'ead hurts like hell..."
"Headache? I've got something for that."
Demons - Group 2
The Zombies near the Hero group attempt to decimate the group. A Studlander dies to the first Zombie's Assault Rifle, however the Merc in the front is spared when the other Zombie's Plasma Rifle overheats.
On the other side of the Battlefield, a chaingunner successfully misses every single shot while trying to kill some Brootals.
Skion
Skion doesn't really do much, they just charge towards the portal and hold their fire to react to any dumb decision made by enemies nearby.
"Hey MadMario, need some help with your spear?"
"Bite me"
Space Cops
"Y'know, that Spear throw gave me an idea."
Dasher loads his rifle and fires a shot towards the nearest Teleporter
The shot disappears to... somewhere.
"Was... was that supposed to happen."
"Yup. All planned"
"I can see this backfiring horribly."
The Space Cops follow their allies and shoot a defenseless rock.
