which ever looks best in sprite.Olothontor wrote:Thank you. I'll look into it.
You mean bright white, or a sort of very light gray? It's an important distinction.
also i was thinking about ship ratio's etc and i was hoping to have battleships as my main force a carrier ( http://www.shipschematics.net/yamato/im ... hinano.jpg ) and my flagship.

Why the hell would a spacegoing fighter carrier have a landing deck?
Olothontor, could you make my ship a bit smaller please? I think it works better as a frigate. Thanks.
As for ships, I would like a large number of frigates and destroyers, with one larger carrier type ship.

True but who's to say they all should be. Personally I would prefer it enclosed too but I recall when I made my first carrier I made it with a flattop flight deck too.
Besides, Dilanski seems to be following a favoured design from some sort of popular sci-fi so it's kind of pointless ribbing him about it when it's designed by someone else... and looks pretty cool. Just saying.

I'll go ahead and presume everyone wants carriers.
As for the 'problem' with dilanski's carrier, it gives it character, and certainly fits the theme. Besides, this is a purely fantastical game, there's no reason for logic to come into play, especially if the final result without logic looks cool.
Now, that all kinda depends on me, but... we'll see what happens.
