Briktopian Infantry (Theblackdog)

Image

Apollyon gets up between the debris.

Image

Flies to the turret once again.

Image

With a successful feat he somehow manages to completely tear off the broken main guns.

Image

Only to realize there is yet another wall of armor between him and the crew!

Image

Troopers and Jaguar almost manage to shoot the Red Tub to bits.

Image

Raszack decides he has had enough of the tank moving towards the bar and sprints towards it.

Image

With bionic strength he rips the Vindicator's tracks apart. The supertank is now immobilized!

Tank Company (Heavyfishcannon)

Image

The crippled Avenger takes another shot at the Vindicator and once again it bounces off the armor.

Vindicator SHDT (Darkpaladin)

Image

All remaining weapons fire at the Rainbow Bar. Taking 72 damage it gets utterly destroyed.

Objective complete, Darkpaladin wins!

The battlefield.
And that's it, i enjoyed hosting this. Well played everyone especially Theblackdog who came close to destroying the supertank
with just some infantry and two heroes.

Good game everyone. Seeing that monster tank wreck shit was awesome, even if I was on the receiving end.

Well, you guys did well. Now that it was immobilized, it would've been in great trouble had the battle continued. I demand Colette be made to eat bricks!

God damn that was a badass tank. I think I might have some ideas on how to kill it though.

Also, I don't really think my orders would've effected the game very much.

You guys didn't even get through half the hit points, like I predicted.

It's still got treads for going in reverse at no penalty. Normally a tank with only one set of treads gets half-movement, but since it's got that armor plating, it's too heavy for movement at half-speed.

Hitpoints don't matter. With apollyon and Raszack still around, it was one, maybe two turns max before they busted inside and killed the crew. At this point it's only a building with some guns on it.

Exactly.

Really, I should have thought of ripping off the main guns from the start, or at least once my 'grenade-down-the-barrel' trick failed.

I think i will add some machine guns or something to the turret to get rid of flying heros or jetpack troopers. You were wreaking too much havoc there for my taste after you realized you'd to just take down the AA gun to be free to do whatever you want. Of course your feat was kinda over the top and and i mumbled to myself after the roll went in your favour. Luckily the additional brick wall i put in between the guns and the control room came into play (i don't even remember why i put it there) so it was not game over after the first photo.
As for the 'grenade-down-the-barrel' trick, i thought this was rather 80ies movie like and thus awesome but you did not phrase it as a feat, rather as an action, so i could do the armor roll and the main guns got to shoot at least once and i guess everyone wanted to see that. Too bad i rolled so badly. :-)

At the time, ripping off the guns felt kind of like a last-ditch effort. I knew the game was going to be over next turn anyway, so why the hell not?

As for slicing in through the roof, maybe I could have done that, but it seemed like between the huge AV and the Armored rating it would have taken forever. What kind of antipersonnel defenses did you have inside the turret?

They never concentrated fire on the tank though. More than half of the shots at it were attempts at component damage. Still taking away 5 hitpints from it is not bad at all.

None. There was only a gun and a katana for General Lukas, the six gunners are all unarmed.
