on with the story


our heros walk into the town


there is another party of adventures there
party leader: hay look it's some fresh meat for the monsters


steve: do you know why they make war hammers two sided? its so people like you have a second try at hitting things


they go to a alleyway too duke it out


immediately the trap is sprung
tim and bill block out the combatants while swift sneaks up behind


bergivid protects leaf and alex so they can provide ranged support


ker-THWACK with a mighty blow steve floors his attacker
party leader -17hp


snick
swift deals a (un)healthy amount of damage to the leader
party leader -9hp


alex begins chanting a spell

ka-zap
the lighting curse
-9hp
-1hp (electric)


the party moves up to attack


swift attacks back role


party leader -13hp
party leader has been defeated

alex casts lightning again
-8
-1hp (electric)


steve and swift rush to the aid of their companions


the axman is second to go down though he hit tim twice
tim:
-7hp
-10hp

then the looting begins


here are the people once they are done, they are also showing off there inventory (swift, you might want to sell some you are getting a heavy load)
also they were found to be carrying 350 gold each and two health potions a peace
tim drinks one (+10hp)
the gold was split between everybody (150g per person)

this was all sold for 450 all together


bill bought a new sword (-100g)


they go into the shop
each buys a stamina potion (-50g)
nine health potions were bough so each could have two (-20g each)


bill goes and gets a drink


swift and leaf take a look at the blacksmith shop

the party has 650g a stamina potion and two health potions a peace
+1d6f means that they get a extra d6 of armor in forests due to forest cloaks
stamina potions allow a extra plate of movement for d6 turns

we will stay the night outside of the town (cheaper) and continue in the morning

Ok so the next part of the quest
(if you want something from the blacksmith you can still get it)
The next morning we walk down the path and here the sound of a conflict
Should we investigate or ignore it
My vote is investigate
This is really hard to keep up

Swift will sell the armor and swords and staff to buy a crossbow and spare knife.

I agree to investigating it.

Investigate. Cautiously. I'll give ranged support again.

backstory time


steve: so, why are you hunting this necromancer
tim: i am not, i am hunting the ghost that has influenced him
steve: influenced
tim: yes, this particular necromancer is harmless, but he has been mislead by the ghost
steve: who is this ghost?
tim: one of the servants of vark, overlord of the dark legions
steve: the vark, the one who almost overtook the empire almost 100 years ago?
tim: the same
steve: but he was struck down by the kings champion!
tim: i didn't kill him, simply banished him back into the other reality he came from
steve: you!? you banished him?
tim: yep, thats part of banishing a creature like him, they curse you to live until they personally can kill you.
steve: so you are nearing 200 years old?
tim: i don't like to be reminded of that, anyway if we don't stop that necromancer he will summon vark again and he will destroy the empire.
steve: couldn't you defeat him again?
tim: i doubt it, he will purposefully hunt me down before anything else he does, and he will be stronger
