Round 4
Manly Men - lawmaster
Manly Santa reaches inside his bag and produces...
A keg of the Bloody Awful, a rare brew. Par-tey!
Anyone who can withstand the Bloody Awful feels impervious to anything afterwards - they gain 1 extra armour until their next round. The (remains of the) Manly Men then rush the bunker an open fire on the men inside.
Psychodad scores a headshot, killing a Jaeger.
Domestic abuse powers activate!
It works. The Elf is now Mighty Pissed Off and promoted to an officer.
Third Army - theblackdog
Der Kaiser Face-chokes a cyborg - critical success! Masks and air tanks won't save you now.
He strikes another one, but the second All-Rounder survives.
The Himmelsjäger then Farce-push the All-Rounders out of there.
Myrna fires at the Gatling Walker's steam boiler, heading straight for it...
Boom! A massive size three explosion blows up the speederbike, the remains of the gatling walker, two all-rounders, a support beam and the trapped pilot inside.
Psycho dad and the Commando are not dead, but the Commando takes a hit. (-1 HP)
So does Myrna, who didn't manage to feat out of there in time (- 1 HP).
The riot trooper gets blasted back, but his shield saves him.
The psychobot tries to get the aeronaughts off his back by smashing them with the machine gun, but powerful as it may be in cc it's only a random weapon.
The psychobot and Jaeger fire in turn from a place that's not on fire. They don't accomplish much.
The Schattenlaufer and Heavy combine fire on the Jackal, but the armour is able to repel the magnitude of their weapons.
The Schattenlaufer then stomps towards the space pirates.
Wolves retreat out of the redoubt. "FIRE!" The bodyguard blocks a shot and then takes one in the face for Angelica's sake.
This Wolf wonders how he missed.
The one who was on top tries to flee, but can't make it out. He doesn't seem to mind much though.
The last one, forced to take the opposite path in order to make it out on time, fires a destructive shot.
Very destructive. Angelica's second guard redshirts, gets blown to smithereens, but diverts the blast enough so that it incinerates Angelica's mount, sending her falling to the ground.
The healbot tries to heal a Jaeger, but isn't successful so far.
Colonial Militia (Scratch)
"Excuse me ladies," Johnny Blitzkrieg says as he vaults for the Engel.
"No!"
Johnny gets lucky, not suffering a hit, though he's still thrown back.
The healbot drives over Serena on its way to an unfortunate victim. That's one person he's not going to be healing.
Militia fire on the crocodiles, or get in position to do so.
This shock trooper jumps and starts drilling his buzzsaw into the pilot's head, but he simply won't die.
Bullets ricochet off the berserker's thick armour.
The guy in the tower is useless.
This guy realizes it's not such a good idea to be exposed to an elite squad of bloodthirsty Terrorkhan, so he gets his ass into some cover.
Brittanian League - Silverdream
The commando flips off the tree and shoots Myrna... IN THE FACE! She barely survives.
"I'll kick you in the nuts!"
Hearing this, the commando gets into cover.
"You distract him while I take his machine laser!"
"Umm..."
The psychobot continues to defy the Aeronaughts... but how long can he hold on?
Inquistadores - Zupponn
The Jackal grabs holds on tight with his claws and starts bouncing on the redoubt.
Soon after he sinks through the roof, crushing the trooper who's trying to run. This would've been worse for the third army if they hadn't retreated.
The Jackal is satisfied... for now.
Some rubble rained down on this side.
Most of it landed here though. It must've missed that trooper by an inch.
The Hyena tries to turn, but gets momentarily stuck on some rubble, metal screeching against stone. At least it threw that shock trooper off.
"What the hell did you do to all my men?! Take this!"
The feat fails and the horn gets stuck in the pilot's helmet instead. By now that pilot is in dire need of some aspirine.
Angered and with 2 vengeance points to spend (bonus points to any rolls she makes) Angelica steps forward and shoots the officer in the face, but these mid-range weapons just don't seem to be able to accomplish much right now.
Space Pirates - piltogg
"Come on, me hearties, if we're not goin' to make it out, at least we'll make sure to be remembered fer killing this purple hag!"
"Watch your tongue, pirate."
Valeera engages Sharane, their blades flashing and clashing like lightning bolts. Sharane seems to have the upper hand...
But what's this?
"Ambush her!"
"Yarr!"
Fighting cleanly is not part of the Code. The crocodiles start ripping Sharane apart.
"Hmm..."
Raa! I allowed this because it looked cool. That's probably the best use of that head yet.
Immortals - heavyfishcannon
Sharane wriggles free and tries to fight back with her katana's even as the water is pulling her down.
She is ripped to pieces by counters for her trouble.
"That suit is mine!"
Apparently looking cool can help you survive. The OTC misses the combat suit narrowly.
The berserker then suffers a severe case of chainsaw-through-skull. Meanwhile his buddies spill into the fort.
While the militia take a HP off one of the crocodiles and shoot at the other the Terrorkhan prepare to fire.
"Oh shit!" Johnny Blitzkrieg says as he drops flat on the ground...
Somehow the Terrorkhan fail to kill anyone. What is up with these guys?
Commandos - Apollyon
Continuing last turn's orders, the remaining commandos (except for the Psi-trooper who will be back next turn) descend on the fortress.
"*diabolical laughter* You don't have any explosions left, do you, Prussians?"
The flamer keeps trying to smoke out the bunker.
This time he melts the psychobot and fries the Jaeger.
