Let me explain, when I rolled the 1d6 for radius, it crit and got 9 inches, when I rolled for damage, I got 10 damage, enough to basically wipe out most people on the ship. The only ones who survived were those who were behind the mast, or those who were body-blocked by corpses, such as the swabby and about 4 hollows, everyone else died.
