First Strike (Round 2)

Round 2
Zahru - Zahru II
Zahru goes berserk. "Any enemy worth remembering would've come back as something more than a pitiful sprite. Now will you let me get back to slaying people or am I going to have to make you relive your final moments?"
His visage frightens the spirit into oblivion.
To celebrate his victory over the spirit, Zahru proceeds to shoot two more lancers.
Falx Marshal - Battlegrinder
The ballistae can't get a firing angle on Lorreaine, so they shoot at the naginata-wielders instead, missing them.
With a whopping 21 damage from two halberdiers, Lorreaine is still brought down to her last HP however. She parried just enough of the damage to survive.
On the other side the halberdiers try to get to the Blazer operator, but they run into a Hitokiri swordsman on the way there.
The crossbowmen advance, aiming for the healer and the flamer. The healer falls.
The crossbowmen then make way to allow their marshal to charge through.
She angry inches herself close enough to strike, but in an amazing show of skill the elite manages to parry her blow.
The momentum from the charge still knocks him over though.
"Get up you spineless dogs! This isn't just some conquest, this is your own home you're defending!" the marshal bellows to her fallen men.
Resurrection is beyond her abilities, but since the feat was a success one mortally wounded spearman still manages to pick himself up to face the enemy...
Hitokiri - lawmaster
The halberdiers who attacked Lorreaine are fried by the Blazer.
The unfortunate spearman is immediately put down again by the javelineers.
Flintlock Ashigaru advance and fire, but this time they're wholly ineffective.
The flamer is close, but not close enough to reaching the Falx on the battlements.
The elite gets up and deals a hit to the marshal, taking her down to 2 HP.
When she is charged by the sword Ashigaru, she manages to kill one in defense.
Archers reposition and take out the two death seekers in the front rank.
Firebombs hit the others, but don't manage to kill them.
Hitokiri jump forward to kill the oncoming lancers, but two get caught by their charging enemies' lances. One nodachi-wielder kills his enemy, chopping through horse and rider both.
The spear ashigaru storm in behind them and kill another lancer with combined efforts. (Not pictured: the Trogdor failed his burninate attack again)
General Croses - Ross_Varn
The last lancer bashes an opponents' face in with the butt of his lance.
... but is then killed by the other ashigaru he was in combat with.
The remaining death seekers go nuts, dealing component damage to the Blazer by hacking and slashing at the axes until they're destroyed.
The giant strikes the Trogdor for 1 HP worth of damage.
The Trogdor responds in kind by latching itself onto the giant's right kneecap, to little effect (it's been getting crappy rolls all game).
The swordsmen use their spiked shields to charge, killing a nodachi-wielder but also losing one of their own to a spear ashigaru. The others couldn't sprint far enough to attack.
Croses ignores the rest of the fighting and heads straight for Zahru. "Time to join your victims, savage!" the general bellows. He is so fixed on attacking Zahru he becomes impervious to damage taken from other sources than Zahru for one turn until he reaches him (critically successful feat).
