Since me and MGB tried to do this battle yesterday, and as not many people were on, we thought we'd try again today. Anyone in the chat can join in the battle, as there are quite a few open spaces. We should be starting in about an hour.


At first glance, this might be mistaken for the BA Team's warehouse. However, a closer inspection would reveal it to be a black market bazaar full of illegal goods and shady characters.

Here General Akbar sells stolen treasures and poached ivory.

The circus master sells exotic animals.

Chef Pierre also sells exotic animals.

The dock workers smuggle everyone's illegal goods.

A couple mercs grab a drink at the bar.

Magic Johnson sells a plethora of drugs.

Everyone's favorite anarchist revolutionary, Guy Fox, sells explosives with his lovely (and foxy!) sidekick, Foxy Vulpes.

John Woo, Tommy Gunn, and Bill Hook are here to do some shopping.

The Ukrainians sell guns.

Across from them, the Yakuza also sell guns.

This guy is the fence. He doesn't understand the term.

Boris, the leader of the Ukrainians, and Tetsuo San, the leader of the Yakuza, have entered into tense negotiations with each other over their arms dealing.

A helicopter lands on the roof.


It's the Midnight Six! An elite team of black ops commandos, they are here to take out the leaders of the Yakuza and the Ukrainians, as well as General Akbar!

They get spotted by a sentry, who raises the alarm. "It's a trap!" General Akbar exclaims.

Boris: "You set us up!"
Tetsuo San: "No, YOU set US up!"

It looks like negotiations have failed. In the ruthless world of the criminal underground, it's every man for himself in the struggle for survival, honor and insane profit margins.

Chef Pierre is amazing

Turn 1

Yakuza-Theblackdog

Tetsuo San jumps on the table and then goes after Boris.

Boris' "personal assistant" redshirts for him.

Tetsuo San's bodyguard tries to shoot the now unguarded Boris, but critfails and shoots his boss instead.

Having dishonored himself and the Yakuza, he commits seppuku.

A Yakuza ninja stealthily unlocks an animal cage. Tired of the abuse they have suffered, the monkeys tear the ringmaster apart.


The other ninja jumps through the hole in the roof, landing near Guy Fox's stall.

The other Yakuza fire on the Ukrainians, killing three. One Ukrainian manages to fire back, but only makes a glancing shot.

The Yakuza swordsman eats a mushroom. He feels stronger and will do an extra d6 of damage per attack for the next 2 turns.

Guy Fox- Scratch

After stowing her smgs in her purse, Foxy grabs some dyno-mite. Guy Fox unsuccessfully attempts to rally people to his revolution.

The Fence- mgb519


The fence demonstrates the effectiveness of his fences by building one through the nearest merc.

Ukrainians- "Vladimir Putin"
Vladimir Putin has taken control of the Ukrainians.

Boris sprints back to his men. He tries to convince others to join him, but is unsuccessful.

The Ukrainian who didn't fire earlier blasts 3 people with a shotgun, but crappy damage rolls mean nobody dies.


Midnight 6- Battlegrinder

The alpha squad of the Midnight 6 kill a Yakuza ninja.


The other squad member tries to shoot the rope holding the alligator and swordfish, but trips and falls to his death. he crushes a monkey underneath him.

The rest of alpha squad move to join bravo squad, and they take a prone position behind them.

The sniper headshots a Yakuza.

The other squad members fire at a Yakuza and a Ukrainian, but neither is killed.

The BA Team- Alex

The team drives into the warehouse entrance.

Chef Pierre-

Chef Pierre opens the animal cages and threatens to put any animal that doesn't obey him into a stew. Surprisingly, the animals cooperate, and he now has three monkeys, a liger and a parrot under his control.

Dock Workers

The dock workers load up the big bomb and look for weapons.

Magic Johnson

Magic Johnson tries to get the Yakuza to pay for the mushroom.

He should know better than to argue with a sword wielding Yakuza on shrooms.

General Akbar

The sniper shoots at the Midnight 5, but misses.

Recognizing the BA team, General Akbar orders his men to attack, as he's still angry about some things they did in his country.

The jeep's gunner fires on Tommy Gunn, who is saved by his armor roll.

Noticing the unattended table this soldier eats some of the monkey. He feels more agile and has extra movement the next turn.

General Akbar tries to draft a merc to join him. The merc isn't to thrilled about working for free, and attacks.

General Akbar shoots first, but his revolver misfires. The merc hits but rolls for low damage.

General Akbar's men put an end to him.

Random Mercs

These two mercs shoot at each other but neither dies.

The bartender opens fire onto one of the mercs with his shotgun.

The poacher sees the liger and thinks it would look great stuffed by his mantle. He shoots it, but just barely survives.

The Liger mauls the poacher.


One merc threatens Guy Fox for explosives. "That's the spirit!" Guy Fox exclaims "Fight the power!" The merc joins Guy Fox and gets an explosive.

The other merc tries to buy some explosives, but doesn't seem to have any money. "Pay in cash, or pay with your life!" Guy Fox says.

These two mercs start stealing drugs. One grabs a toad, and the other grabs pot.

The toad is poisonous however, and the merc dies immediately after licking it.

One merc tries to take John Woo's motorcycle at gunpoint. "You want it?" John Woo says...


"You can have it."


This merc tries to shoot the Ukrainian, but shoots himself in the foot instead. Normally, this wouldn't be fatal. Normally.

After losing his teammate to the fence, this merc puts the fence into the ground.

This merc grabs a crate of smgs and a katana from the Yakuza stall and heads out.

Turn 2

Midnight 5- Battlegrinder

The Midnight 5 leader takes out the sentry.

Another team member shoots the rope, releasing the crocodile.

Another one of General Akbar's men bites the dust.

General Akbar is assassinated by the team sniper. He failed to get one of his men to redshirt.

Guy Fox- Scratch

Foxy Vulpes throws a dynamite bundle, killing 3 dock workers.

Her other bundle proves equally deadly, blowing up another three.

Guy Fox arms an explosive and attaches it to the large bomb.

Guy Fox and co. then scramble to get out of the blast radius.

The Yakuza ninja manages to successfully bail.

So does a dock worker.

This dock worker escapes the blast, but doesn't escape the sharks.

The dock worker trapped under the weight of the bomb has nowhere to go as the bomb obliterates everything around him, including Guy's explosives stand.

Potentially more to come tomorrow.

A Ukrainian thug blasts a Yakuza gunman.

Another Ukrainian kills the other Yakuza gunman

Boris tries to take out the Yakuza swordsman, but the grenade in his underbarrel launcher misfires, killing him, 2 Ukrainians and a merc.
Ukrainians Eliminated!

Yakuza

The Yakuza swordsman tries to take the pot from the merc so he can cook rice.

Even a sword wielding Yakuza on shrooms is no match for a shotgun blast to the face though.

Chef Pierre

The parrot flies and attacks a member of the Midnight 5, but doesn't do enough damage to make a kill.



The white liger leaps on the roof and mauls two commandos to death.



Chef Pierre tries to kill the alligator, but dies from the alligator's counter instead.

General Akbar's Men

The jeep gunner continues to fire at Tommy Gunn, who just manages to survive.

This soldier tries to hit the sniper on the roof, but his assault rifle's recoil causes him to shoot straight up instead.

Gravity takes its natural course.

Realizing that the swordfish ran him through when the rope fell, this soldier dies.

The B.A. Team- Alex

Tired of being shot at, Tommy guns the car's engine.



He hits the jeep at an angle, causing it to flip. The gunner is killed and the driver is disrupted.

Bill Hook eliminates the driver with a close range shotgun blast.
General Akbar's Men elimintated!


Seeing a merc that he has a particular grudge against, John Woo cuts him down to size.


The bartender decimates the other merc in his bar.

This merc heads off with his newly acquired weapons.

This merc uses the pot to cook more drugs.

The Fence- mgb519

The Fence crosses back over the fence between life and death, putting him back in the world of the living.

Aftermath

The remaining dock worker speeds off in a boat. Some say he went on to become a shark hunter to avenge his friend.

The ninja vanishes into the shadows.

Guy Fox and company leave to prepare to start of the next revolution.

After stocking up on weapons and ammo, the B.A. Team heads back to base.

The status and whereabouts of the Midnight operatives remains highly classified. Officially, this OP never happened.

The bartender pours another drink for his favorite customer.

Noticing the weapons that have been left lying around, the fence decides to take them for himself and sell them.
