Ambushed in the Foothills, Final

Turn 6:
The Drakhirri scouts get lucky and take out a legionary.
Aemilius Paulus grabs an empty horse and attacks General Zermanion.
Aemilius Paulus's attack wiffs, but Zermanion crit fails and drops his halberd. (At this point my dice turned against the Drakhirri with a vengeance.)
Turn 7:
The Drakhirri scouts move to where they can shoot and fire.
But both crit fail and one kills his ally.
Zermanion attempts to shove Aemilius and his horse, in order to gain an opening to pick up his halberd, but fails, Aemilius countered and rolled well on damage, the redshirt roll failed, and all Zermanion's armor dice were low, resulting in his decapitation.
Turn 8:
The archer uses his last man benny on damage, and gets lucky, killing another legionary.
Aemilius attacks him, but both attacks wiff.
Turn 9:
The scout attacks, but is slain by Aemilius's counter.
Roman Victory!
