Sorry for the massive delay between this turn and the last one. I hope you remember what the battle was about.

Soundtrack

Bavarian Scientists - Zahru II

Image

"Kapitän Krupp, this is what happens when you betray science before it can betray you!"

"Soldier! Stop this nonsense!"

Image

"Yes, Kapitän - urgh..."

Image

"You died like a true Bavarian, soldier... following orders."

Image

Meanwhile, Emma Fremdliebe boards the Bagger 28H8.

Image

"Alright, army dog, I am reclaiming my creation!"

"Wait! Before you kill me, let me just do this one thing!"

Image

Image

KER-SPLATT!

Image

"Wasn't that totally worth it?"

"Ok, that was totally worth it."

Image

Image

"I will have to push my Bagger past the limit to get it out of here... Engaging overdrive mode!"

Image

But all that happens is some fried circuits. Attacks against the Bagger now do 1d4 extra damage.

"Damnit! Typical Bavarian components. Do exactly what they are made for and nothing else."

Vergilius Raskolnikov - motorhead fan

Image

Disappointed at having his troops turned to paste, Vergilius Raskolnikov decides they need some inspiration.

"Soldiers! Remember that you are fighting for the greatest minifig in existence - me! Under my guidance, you cannot die!"

All of Raskolnikov's soldiers cheer and get a permanent +1 bonus to their armor!

Image

Also...

Image

Image

...the dead Raskolnikov soldier (that isn't paste) is no longer dead. But he's less loyal and more hungry for brains now.

Undead Faction activated:
Raskolnikov Zombies
NPC

Image

Anyway, Raskolnikov's soldiers charge into the fortress, confident in their immortality. They gun down two mercenaries, and Azaira Mayakovsky slices apart a third.

Image

The tank backs up and takes a shot at the scientists on the balcony, but it just hits the building.

Image

Azaira Mayakovsky dashes past Stolid Stake onto the Bagger.

Stolid Stake - Theblackdog

Image

Stake shoves his way onto the Bagger.

"This is a mission for tactical espionage action soldier agents. Not feminine ninjas."

Image

Stake shoots the merc, but misses Fremdliebe.

Avokhan Empire - mercury19

Image

Kharl Kheith and the sniper crosses the street, the sniper preparing response fire. The other tech thief sprints onto the Bagger.

Image

Kheith contacts... someone.

"It's Kheith. Is it you?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"We need you here."

"I'll be there. Bullets are friendly creatures... they prefer to hunt together."

Bavarian Army - Silverdream

Image

The Bavarian mechanic constructs a ladder from the railing...

Image

...and climbs down it, heading for the Bagger like everyone else.

Image

Image

"Watching the stupidity of minifig kind through the scope of my rifle..."

Image

Wilhelm Krupp gets a steady hold of the brick container.

"I still go it, you know!"

Image

"This is - huff - a piece of black forest cake compared to - huff - what I had to do as a kid!"

Image

Then there is a splutchy sound, like something heavy squashing a black forest cake.

Image

The last Bavarian soldiers sends a missile at the scientists.

Image

There is a violent explosion...

Image

...but when the dust has settled, the scientists are woefully unhurt.

Mercenaries - NPC

Since Emma Fremdliebe has claimed the Space Piltogg gold in the Bagger cockpit, the scientists control more treasures than anyone else, and so the mercenaries fight for them.

Image

The mercenaries run at and shoot at the nearest enemies, but miss everything.

Image

Three new mercs enter the field.

Raskolnikov Zombies - NPC

Image

The zombie chases his former fellow soldiers, but something seems to be following him as well.

Image

Secret Faction activated:
Pirates
commanded by Brikguy0410

Image

On the bridge is pirate captain Rodrigo Palo, Fransisco Duroculo, Maria Fujoshi and...

Secret Faction activated:
James Bonk
commanded by Falk

"Arr! Fransisco, is this the marked spot?"

"Yes, cap'n!"

"Good! Thanks for the map, Britannian."

"And thank you for the ride, pirate."

The battlefield is such a clusterfuck that it's hard to get an overview. You didn't miss the ones in the spoiler right?

I think this ZZD was happening just before I joined, so I don't think I was part of that particular war.

Sorry, I misread your original post. Thought you were saying that it was the best battle ever. My bad.
