Welcome back one and all to the Stockade Skirmish. It's been quite a bit since the last update, so let's get this thing rolling.
Frostborne Villagers (Sir Sporktimus):

The trio of archers move from one barricade to the next. They then fire at the Draklon archers who just made it to shore, but their attack rolls are too low to do anything.

These two surviving villagers stop next to the bucket of partially-frozen water, each standing on opposite sides.

They then work together and begin lifting it from the bottom.

And start moving it toward the woodcutter’s hut.

One villager maneuvers into the hut and they place the barrel at the entrance.

The fur-hatted villager than turns around with a grimace as he observes the stockade, using his last inch of movement to step forward away from the hut.
Undead Sentinels (Lawmaster):

Two undead soldiers attack the unarmed archer, but miraculously miss their intended target. Again.

The high-lord and his sentinel step from the tomb.

He looks up at the archers on the watchtower and a hoarse whisper issues from his rotting lips. Erie green energy sparks to life around his free hand as his cold, dead eyes remain locked on the bowmen.

One of the bowmen reels back in pain, holding his head and dropping his bow. “Aaarrrgghh!”

“What’s wrong?” His buddy asks, but the bowman only answers with a gurgling cry-

-as he’s split apart, his skeleton struggling out of the husk that used to be a body.

A top view of the bowmen's

The bowman's skeleton stand frigid for a moment as the undead lord's magic works its... magic.

The skeleton turns on the bowman and shoves him.

Who then falls to his death.
Draklon Raiders (Silent-Sigfig):

The lone champion gets up and finds the situation he’s in hasn’t gotten any better.

So he turns around -surprisingly quick for one in heavy armor- and reaches forward to grab a Norsemen archer.

But the archer isn't having any of that, and smacks him away with a successful counter.

Urging itself forward, the Iron Crossbow turns and takes aim.

The soldier focuses as he gets in range, keeping in mind that he hasn't done jack so far.

Boom!
A critical hit sparks a small fire. The three Frostborne villagers on the other side sigh a breath of relief that they weren't there like five minutes ago.

Despite the successful attack, Lucer doesn't look too happy.

He turns and situates himself at the base of a fallen evergreen.

With a heave, Lucer lifts part of the tree up and shakes some of the prickly leaves off. “Let’s put these bloody trees to use,” he growls.

With hardly any effort, he throws the tree up in the air-

-And it lands neatly across the broken bridge. “Press-on, you clumsy oafs!”

The macemen take the hint and carefully move across the tree-bridge.

This large group of Draklon soldiers also move up and begin attacking the villagers.

The spearmen poke at the closest villager but don’t do enough damage.

It's the two flanking archers that manage to take one down.

On the other side of the shore, a Norse archer meets his end as a Draklon swordsman plunges a sword in his gut.

The demonspawn pair move up, eager to join the fray.

One of them moves in and swings his axe at an archer.

And decapitates him due to overskill.
Norse Warriors (Scratch):

The last surviving archer moves back a couple inches out of the melee.

He then strings his bow and takes down the enemy swordsman who just killed one of his brethren.

Ivar uses his feat to duck and roll out of the way of the two Icebreakers. The icebreakers curse at him as their hammers meet only the ground, missing their reaction attacks.

The Norse hero then swings his sword into the wagon and deals some crippling damage, decimating the makeshift barricade and leaving the stockade doors bare. Response fire from the Frostborne archers above once again proves inefficient.

Behind Ivar, his warriors move up and attack the Icebreakers, but fail to do anything, while this archer casually goes behind some cover.

The mounted archers abandon their cover and circle around a pine tree to join the rest of the warriors.

Being wounded, this horse’s speed his reduced dramatically and he doesn’t quite get as far as he would've liked.
Frostborne Warriors (Dienekes22):

Seeing that his bow is out of reach and left with very little room and time to maneuver, the last Frostborne bowman on the mountainside reaches for something in the crate next to him.

He pulls out a random, but viable object: a glass bottle of Frostbornian Moonshine!

“Bugger off, ya clumsy, shamblin’ bastards!” He jeers at them, pointing the bottle at them threateningly.

The undead don’t seem to be very intimidated, but the bowmen dives in and smacks the closest one in the face. The critical roll overcomes the random object penalty and the undead’s armor.

Amazingly, even the bottle survives the blow. “I’m lovin’ this stuff even more now.”

Down below, the icebreakers attack Ivar but only manage to squash a redshirt.

Frostborne warriors finish off the wounded horse, the rider bailing a few inches away.

More Frostborne warriors attack the champion, but their damage is measly and he shrugs it off.

Farcus jumps up and does a fancy roll in mid-air, aweing his warriors.

He lands and smashes the Draklon champion into the dirt, killing him.

The low bass-pitched hymn of a horn resonates from the mountains above, reaching the ears of the fighters below.

The silence that follows is eerie, until another deep blast permeates the air, louder and closer.

A band of armored warriors marches down the path. In their midst, a great dire wolf mounted by a familiar hooded figure stands and surveys the battlefield. Astonishingly, the reinforcements have arrived led by none other than Ken.

“Hey guys!” Shouts Ken over the clamor of the skirmish, “hope we’re not too late to the party! I brought some friends. Oh, and this giant wolf too, of course.”

The Frostborne heavy reinforcements seem to pause and observe the battlefield only momentarily, before shouting in unison as brothers in arms. They have arrived!
