Wow, I forgot how elaborately huge this battle was. Was the last turn before you moved to the new place, Stubby?

Good news: now that I'm fired I'm going to have some time to get this back underway. It's taken about a year to unpack all of it and get it set back up in the new house, but I've got everything put back together and it's about 80% in place based on all the old photos.

Natalya came by the other day to visit the setup and offer candid opinions about the intelligence and/or sanity of somebody who'd try something like this, which was refreshing.

I like how you say came by like it was nothing for her because, unless I missed something, there's quite a bit of distance between you two.

I assumed she was migrating to Canada for the winter.
Although she would maybe have more snow in Atlanta today.

She knows when you are sleeping.

You have no idea.

Yeah, so, having inspected the battlefield I can say that Rayhawk definitely has his work cut out for him if he decides to continue the game.

There may be like an upper size limit on battlefields and CP and number of players beyond which the game just inherently is going to break down before it's able to be resolved. This is the largest battlefield I've seen in person and the second-largest that I know about, the largest being the space war between Tuefish, RoC77, and Strana which took up like the entire floor.

So, in summary:
As the size of the battlefield and the number of creations, players, and minifigs increases the chance of the battle being resolved before play ends tends towards zero.

Having done several massive battles myself (Brickingrad was the last in a line of annual/semi-annual battles I did during college time, but was sadly the only one I properly recorded), this is totally true. He'd just have to be up for being the buckle that holds the game together and keeps it going. Stubby, you psyched up to do that?

How many minifigs has he got setup? I always found that workarounds and lifehacks like baseplates were nothing in comparison to simple passion for the game and battle when it came to managing a shit ton of stuff. Also I'm just flat-out curious.

Also, :studgod: :omnom: :studgod:
