General: "How goes the excavation?"



Drill Operator: "Pretty good."



"We'll Have this guy out in no time!"



"Comedian: "We've got trouble!"



Mage Plaerus: "Trouble indeed!"



Captain Cheeto: "Make It double!"

Mage Plaerus: "But we're not allied though."

Captain Cheeto: "Of Course not."

Welcome to The Bleeding Crown.




All factions want to kill eachother and recover the crown. Turn order is

USA Turn 1(bann154)



Everyone Pulls back inside the walls and prepares response fire.



Through the radioman, the General grants the drill a Benny. The drill operator should be able to see how many more turns it will take next turn.

Imperial Magikistrate(Redrover)



The tank fires, while Plaerus attempts a heroic feat to boost the shot's range.



it goes poorly.



The shot accelerates straight down, and only the timly redshirting of the tesla trooper saves Plaerus. The damage is too low to harm anyone else though.



The troops and the tank move foreward, to where the tank can hit the Minuteman.



However, the minuteman can still hit it. Or could, the operator didn't critfail on his skill rolls.

45th Union Turn 1(Valiant)



Captain Cheeto takes off at a sprint!



He clambers up the radio mast.



Unfortunately, his feat was not a sucess. he ends up balanced on top of the radio mast, but out of range of everyone else.



The rest of them move up, staying out of enemy range. It appears that they are also allied with the Imperial Magikistrate for nefarious peachy purposes.

USA Turn 2



The radioman heads over the the command room. The general grants a benny to the Minuteman operator.



He needs it to land his shots.



Once again, the Tank eats up all the damage. the less resilient gunner gets popped like a cherry.



The marksman climbs up the ladder, and fires on Captain Cheeto.



A critical success on the damage means that Cheeto was dead before he messily hit the ground.



The rocket specialist fires on the Horsefly.



The shot barely hits, and does no damage beyond lighting the Horsefly on fire.

Everyone else goes on overwatch.

Imperial Magikistrate(Redrover)



Plaerus gets up, and begins chanting.



The controls to the Horsefly seize up. "Holy shit!" says the pilot. "BAIL OUT!"



The first real feat of the game crashes in a resounding success.



The marksman, the Rocket guy, 3 USA soldiers, the Horsefly pilot, and one of the gunners are killed while most everyone else is disrupted.



These two are disrupted.



As is this guy.



And these three (dang I forgot blood).



And these four.



The USA sidekick bailed to here.



The tank operator, on the other hand, rolls a 2.

A 2.

He misses.



Everyone sprints forward.

Well, that was unexpected.

RAW UNADULTERATED CHAOS

45th Union Turn 2(Valiant)



The Rocket trooper shoots at the radio mast.



It goes down, but doesn't form much in the way of cover.



The Medic revives Captain Cheeto.



Everyone sprints forward, or moves as much as they can.

One guy in back made it crazy far (He's on the rock ledge). One of the disrupted guys grabs a fallen rocket.



The gunner gets up, grabs the fallen marksman's rifle, and shoots at the hero, hitting him despite a -2 skill penalty.



A radioman Redshirts for him. In the background, the operator reveals that the drilling will be done in 4 turns.

USA Turn 3(Bann154)



The Comedian steps to the controls of the minuteman. "My turn!" he grunts.



The Minuteman slowly rotates into position...



...And a Critically sucessful feat results in the minuteman firing 10 rockets at the tank!



The result is nuts. The tank has 5/6 hitpoints blown off, the structure level is reduced to 1, the turret is wrecked, and the pilot is killed, and it's at half speed. Still driveable, though. The Minuteman is out of ammo, and the 45th Union Gunner is killed in the blast.



Everyone picks themselves up, and squads up again. One guy manages to shoot.



Killing one enemy.



The radioman kills the sneaky 45th union grunt.

That reminds me, the 45th union and Magikistrate are allied again.



The drill car stops drilling and goes straight through the fence.

Imperial Magikistrate Turn 3



Plaerus enchants these three. While one critfails and drops his gun...



The damage fries this entire squad.



The killers head back to the back of the base.



As the other squad kills the drill operator, one of them runs and hops in the tank.



He rams it into the minuteman tower, and sets the tank to explode, but he critfails and only he is killed in the explosion.

45th Union turn 3(Kastrenzo, replacing Valiant)



Cheeto takes off across the radio mast, followed by the medic.



This guy shoots at the general, but misses.



Everyone else scrambles up the wreckage.



They all open fire on the USA trooper on the ground.



The Commando Sargent and Radioman are killed. Everyone else barely survives.



These guys sprint around the back, while the rocketman Reloads.

USA turn 4(bann154)



everyone in the command room gets moving. Despite the general's boost, the trooper fails to kill the 45th union guy. In the back, the comedian critfails and breaks his shotgun.



The remaining grunts unload, but only kill one trooper.

Imperial Magikistrate: Turn 4



These two aim at the 45th union medic, once again putting the Inevitable Backstab Bennies to use.



The damage is absurd.



Only a hat is left of the medic.



They book it towards the other troops.



Two troopers fire on the Comedian, but the general redshirts for him. Plaerus does some magic.



The central tower collapses, killing three 45th Union troopers.

45th Union turn 4(Silent-Sigfig replacing Kastrenzo replacing Valiant)



The trooper guns down a Magikistrate grunt.



The rocketeer blows up the last USA squad, but only one guy is killed.



As the other two are shot up, Cheeto starts running, leaping towards Plaerus.



He falls short.
