I'll be rolling initiative for the start of every turn, to ensure everything is as random as possible. Who needs an orderly battle for a bar brawl, anyway?
Here's the lineup for Turn 1:
Tavern Staff (mgb519), Norsemen (RedRover), Sanitation Overseer (Duerer), Frostborne (bann154), Esduin (Silent_Sigfig)
Also, some more boring notes before we get into the good stuff:
Both Frostborne and the Norsemen units are under the effect of Intoxication, a simple game mechanic I made up on the fly for shits and giggles. Maybe it's been done before but it sounded fun in my head.
It is as follows: Intoxication effects are decided by the flip of a coin at the beginning a player's turn. If heads, units who are considered 'under the influence' will get a +1 to their skill rolls during their current active turn. If tails, they’ll get a -1 on their skill rolls for their current active turn. Either way the effects (positive or negative) only last during their active turns and will reset with another coin flip on the next.
Anyway, lets get down to business.

Revel Rousers - Turn One
Tavern Staff (mgb519):

The maiden behind the bar recognizes the danger she and her tavern is in, so she turns toward her patrons and attempts to persuade one of them to come to their protection.

Her attempt met with success, one of the patrons jumps atop the bar wielding an empty glass bottle in his hostess’s defense.

The other maid tries the same, leaning real close to an elderly patron and whispering words of encouragement.

The old man rises from his seat, “well, as long as I get a back rub afterwards...”

Meanwhile, The Chef is busy working on his greatest meal yet. He produces a bottle of alcohol and dumps the entire thing into the stew, which bubbles in response.
Norsemen (RedRover):

The Norsemen decide to continue drinking while Gisella jumps up on the table.

She aims her boomstick in the direction of the Esduin soldiers, “eat this!”

But the rifle jams up and doesn’t even fire, heroic feat failure! “Damned technology!”
