The siege has been long and bloody.



Along the old battle line, a tree burns silently.



A peace delegation, led by Isenbardus, Hero of the South, stands in the no-man's land between foes. The ashes of the old siege wall crumble under each step. Weeks ago, the defending Southern Lions thought they had won a great victory, pushing their enemy back and breaking down the battle wall.



But the Northern Lions simply built a new one. For weeks both sides have looked on at one another, making no moves.



Rowland, King in the North, discusses strategy with Owayne, the great Northern Hero.



The Golden Knight refuses to let the enemy peace party approach any further. The great machine looms behind him, surrounded by scowls and steel.



The defenders look on, fear creeping across their faces. They have food to survive many more weeks, but there is no safety outside the walls of their citadel.



The Southern War Priest, Persivell eyes the field. His powers wane with inaction. His soul burns to return to the field and siphon the life forces of the slain before they slip away forever.



The men are anxious and tired of all the waiting.



The beacon burns brightly, calling for rescue and respite. The beacon can be answered by anyone, friend and foe alike.



The dead rot in the marshes surrounding the citadel, created by strife and hate. The once fertile ground is sodden and wet, a result of the breaking of key dams upriver by the Northern Lions as they marched to war.


Welcome to The Siege!

Currently up for grabs are the main two factions presented: Lions from the North and South. Anyone else who wishes to enter the fray may join the Waiting List for secret factions. Only time will tell who will find their way to the beacon's light!

Oh what the heck, I'll jump in the waiting list too.

Got you two up as well. I think the first four players on the Waiting List will get in the game, I've got enough armies. I'll message the Lion's players with stats and I'll get with the Secret Factions soon after. I won't close the Waiting List, so more players can get sign up just in case.

All right, I've got 6 on the Waiting List now and I'm going to call the Sign Ups closed. I think the first four will get in, but I am unsure about the last two. I'll try to get you in because the more the merrier and such.
