The engineers prepare to fire on the peace party, shattering the illusion of a resolution to the bloodshed.

The round hits Isenbardus square in the helmet.

The explosion isn't enough to harm Isenbardus, but he is knocked off his feet. The fire is unable to spread beyond it's initial brilliant burst.

As Isenbardus tries to make sense of the world, a footsoldier is shot down by a flurry of arrows.

The King and Owayne mount mighty steeds.

An officer raises his axe and rallies men to his call behind the advancing siege tower.

A second officer brings men into the tower, weapons clattering and voices roaring.

The King and his Knights wait for the tower to pass them by. The King roars a great battle roar to intimidate his opponents.

His sound feat of noise scares one footsoldier towards the citadel, but Isenbardus is renewed in strength. "How absurd you look!" he calls back at the King.

The last officer takes his place with the engineers. The Golden Knight waits patiently beside him.

Isenbardus makes his way to the gate. "This is where we make our stand men! They shall never take this fortress with us defending it!" he cries. The feat works and the nearby men find some rubble in the marshes and begin erecting a battle wall. (I don't have a picture of it for some reason, it is shown later)

The War Priest marches down to the field, leading eager warriors.

Atop the walls, men find their stations.

Their foe is just out of range.

Both sides prepare for a fight!
