Yea, they did, not sure why they didn't use their response fire.

It's possible that they tried to, but the soviets shot first (like Han Solo).

I'm not caught up on all the finer points of the rules, possibly the Soviet's actions took priority over the Polish response due to their higher initiative roll?

That is the only reason I can see (assuming Duerer didn't just forget).

I'm not sure if response actions carry over to the next turn. Thus it would be better if players tell me something like 'action when in range, otherwise response'.

btw, AnnoyedZebra still needs to send orders and there we go.

The Rulebook seems to imply they do: "To make a Response Action, a unit must have an unspent Action from its previous turn."

Sadly, folks aren't really getting motivated by mere words any more (FEAT FAILED).


Sosabowski decapitates a Lietuvan soldier with his shotgun, while the LMG paratrooper misses entirely.


All paratroopers fire at the soldiers but fail to hit anything.

Angry Boners (AnnoyedZebra):

All skeletons charge towards the Soviets by the river.


Three reach a flamer guard and reduce him to blood, pulp and scrap metal.

Soviets (bann154):

The flamer burns a skeleton and inflicts one HP damage to the Boner Knight (2 remaining). Both conscripts shoot another skeleton.


Nadya is pissed, so she picks up the fallen Briktopian redshirt and throws him at his living comrades.


But misses them (FEAT FAILED).


Nevertheless, the Soviets move up and kill 3 Briktopian soldiers.

Briktopians (Legomc):

Finn jumps up again..


Right into the mass of skeletons, taking out one (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).


All the other soldiers move towards the altar and fire at the skeletons. They survive unscathed.

Lietuvans (TastySkippy123):

All Lietuvan soldiers fire at Sosabowski. While only one of them hits, his damage is massive. All of it is soaked up by the LMG operator, though.


Tadas does more chanting to bring back his fallen warriors.


Two axemen are resurrected (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).

All Briktopian soldiers fire at the skeletons but sadly fail to do any damage.


On his way to the altar Finn hacks another skeleton and beats the Boner Knight down to his last HP.

Angry Boners (AnnoyedZebra):

Boner Knight: "BOOOOO!"
The Knight manages to scare (disrupt) Finn, two conscripts and the flamer guard (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).


The last bonezerker whacks the flamer with his hammer.

Soviets (bann154):

Both conscripts shoot at the skeleton without doing any damage, though.


The rest sprints up towards the ruins while Nadya attempts to jump to the Briktopians, yet realizes that she hasn't gathered enough momentum to do so (FEAT FAILED).

The paratroopers fail to miss/harm the axemen. Everything is terrible!


Not quite! Sosabowski performs a double pirouette with dismemberment, killing two Lietuvan soldiers and engaging Tadas in melee (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).
