A meeting takes place in the outskirts of a major settlement on the planet Sterinian, one of Skion's first stellar colonies.
"Artor, it is good that you've come," Dienekes says as the Dominion's greatest hero strolls into view, flanked by powerful Phalanx hardsuits.
"I sensed there was much trouble," he answers, "despite the terse message you sent. Tell me what makes this front so valuable, among all the others our nations fight on together?"
Dienekes nods gravely. "This position was hastily constructed around an... artifakt. We know little, but we have been able to ascertain it contains unfathomable power. Research is ongoing."
"And how do you know it to be so powerful? I feel no auras, there is nothing to suggest-"
"It was discovered by a reconnaissance party sent to investigate some strange occurrences here. Six were in the party that discovered the artifakt. Three touched it, by one means or another. Two were incinerated on the spot and the third..."
"Yes?" Dominion's greatest son asks.
"The third was transformed. It seems she is like us Artor."
"Is she not here to aid the defense, then?"
"Elyana is inside," Dienekes answers, "still being studied. The teks are worried about something or other. Her powers, or abilities, are still unknown."
The bunker door is opened for Artor, and he glimpses the artifakt, suspended by it's own power inside a sealed magikal cage.
"This is it?" he asks.
Dienekes nods. "Yes. All we really know about it is... that it's called a Core."
"Core of what?" Artor thinks aloud.
There is no answer, but only an interruption.
"D̵͓͕̻̯̉̇̇́̔͆͝Ǐ̵̡̻̺̕Ȩ̵̛͕̖͈͉̙̻̞̎̈́̅̈́̄́͐̚N̷̨̛͈̥̯͕̩͉̦͊͜E̵̿̉͜K̷̪̲̺͍̣̉̔̌̔̚É̴̢̛̘̻̳̲̯̣̦̏̈́̆͠S̷̘̩̉͂̃ͅ" an unholy scream carries in the air.
It is Eldon Corrupted, puppet of Lambda Warhead, appearing in full battle regalia, ready for a fight.
The Legionnaires of the Lambda Legion appear alongside him.
Even the Terrorkhan slip quietly in the brush.
And a heavy weapons team moves in support of their corrupted hero.
"Oi! Don't fink we're jus gunna let ya gits have it without a fight! Make room for 'da Brootalz!"
Skion engineers prepare for the coming fight.
Warriors from Luchardsko and the Dominion are ready on the flanks.
The weak spot of the bunker is undoubtedly here, at the power and cooling station, itself powered by magik.
"It's a fight, then!" Artor shouts.

Azure Compact: The Skion scientist needs FIVE turns to finish her analysis of the core and of Elyana. Undue interruptions (gunfire, explosions, etc) will negate progress for a turn.
The Core cannot fall into enemy hands.
Everyone else: Get the damn Core!!!!!!1!
