Centuaresses - StrongCoffee
The Centauresses trot forward, staying behind the relative safety of some brush.
Eyana clambers up onto the hill, surveying the battlefield.
She bends down to grab the snake next to her, but the snake doesn't quite like that idea and bites her instead. No harm done.
Giving up on that idea, she remains in place.
Black Falcons - NPC
Sir Darius dashes over towards the ridge.
He climbs up it and starts inspecting the cave, hoping to discover something useful.
Instead, he is attacked by the spider who made it's home over the cave entrance. Jeez, the vermin are quite hostile in these parts!
Easily withstanding the spider's bite, he flicks it onto the ground and impales it with his sword.
The Black Falcons all sprint up, with one in particular getting a little overeager. Sir Marcus and the other smartly-dressed Black Falcon aren't far behind.
The other three clump up next to the centauresses.
Army of Darkness - Cracjaw
The Uruk-hai and Orcs all advance, with the Uruk-hai forming a quasi-shield wall.
The Undead shuffle and shamble forward, a veritable tide of death.
The Dark Lord raises his staff as it starts glowing brightly.
And he summons a rotting corpse of a knight into battle!
The Easterlings, Orks, Troll, and Bull Knights all move up. Two Bulls man the catapult, pushing it forward and preparing to fire once the enemy come into range.
Black Knights - Archduke
The White King rides out in front of his army.
White King: "Men! This is that day we knew would come! We have an enemy who wishes to slaughter us all and ruin our kingdom! And now that enemy is on our doorstep, with a great army! And so, we have a choice... We can either turn to flee, and break all bonds of fellowship, or we stand and fight!"
White King: "...And if we are to fail, at least we will do so bravely, not because we were cowardly and fled from battle, but because we stood our ground, and fought courageously to the last man! And so, I bid you, stand with me, men of the Black Knights!!!"
The army erupts with cheers and shouts! The Black Knights now all have a +1 modifier to both skill and movement for the next 2 turns.
The army marches forward in perfect unison, with two of the heavy cavalry splitting off to head around the approaching trees.
In the backline, the ranged troops all start making their way over towards the ridge to the right.
Now that the enemy is in range, the Bull Knights lob one of their rocks.
But it lands harmlessly in the middle of the map. (I am using manual fire for their catapult, just FYI)
Vikings - GI Elijah
Eager to start the battle, the Vikings all sprint towards the enemy.
Von Bragallot - Bragallot
Wilhelm dashes forward across the high ground.
He stops, and then produces a clockwork goblin!
Von Brag: "It is good zhat I brought you along."
He places the contraption on the ground.
The Three Heroes - NPC
Both Sir Lannister and Muradin charge forward, but Lillian decides to secure the nearby rock instead.
