Loot, Glory and Escalating Mayhem [Intro]

Storylines leading up to the battle:
Loot, Glory and Escalating Mayhem
or The War on Vymbourne.
The mighty General Alderic stands before the gates of Vymbourne, ready to defend the city with his life.
DEFENDERS
Firstly the Royal Guard led by Alderic, shown above. There are 4 heavies and 1 officer in front of the Gatehouse.
And then there's 3 more Royals guarding the back of the Armoury on the other side of town. This means there's 9 Royals at the start of the battle.
The Black Falcons, led by the heroic Lord Uldar Eremengard, guard the gatehouse itself.
They have 3 archers, 1 heavy, 6 regular infantry and 1 hero. Additionally they've asked the bartenders wife to be their medik, bringing their total to 12.
The Bulls, led by Cedric himself, defend a section of wall featuring a guard tower next to the market square.
They have 2 archers, 4 regular infantry, 1 hero, and 1 dwarfen mechanik, bringing their total to 8.
The Vymbournian civilians have also taken up arms to defend their beloved city. There's 13 of them at the start of the battle: 8 in the market square and 5 inside The Boulder. Among them are an archer, two mechaniks and one medik. Additionally, one of these civilians is bound to become one of the most heroic characters to ever walk the streets of Vymbourne.
ATTACKERS
Leading the siege is the notorious warbaws Jagga Skullkrusha and his orks. They built a monstrous siege weapon, the Hurla-Bang trebuchet, to lay waste to the city.
There's 1 hero, 1 mechanik, 1 mage, 2 archers and 5 regular infantry, totaling 10.
The Dragon Forest Rangers, led by the green knight Sir Gerhard, have also joined the attackers.
They brought 1 hero, 4 regular infantry, 2 archers and 1 scout, totaling 8 at the start of the battle.
Gaspard Lechevallier, heroic apostle of the yellow brik, leads Les Leons de Dordogne. They're french warriors from the Kingdom of Touraine who have followed Gaspard on his quest, leading them here.
There's 4 regular infantry, 4 archers and a blokbot. Gaspard is both hero and mechanik, sporting the ability to construct just about anything from magikal yellow briks. (10 total)
Ryu's Dragon Guard, led by Sensei Ryu, attack the city from within.
There's 1 hero, 2 archers, 6 regular infantry and 1 pyromancer.
One of the Black Falcon archers stands guard atop the gatehouse.
Outlook for the dragon guard. Marketplace to the right, The Boulder to the left, the Armoury up front.

A chain is attached to the top of the wall here, allowing soldiers to climb up to the watchtower. It's used by the Bulls for easy access to their positions, but nothing is stopping the attackers from using it as well.
Clucking about.
A baaaaaaattlepack stands in front of the low wall next to the gatehouse.
The marketplace contains a whole load of supplies and a small house. Additionally, the base of the watchtower is a prison cell. It's not empty, but who (or what) is in there, is a surprise.
Mancave.
The black falcons have placed a cart full of wooden stakes behind the gatehouse. These can be used to construct a second line of defense if the gatehouse falls.
There's many chests located around town, which can be opened to discover items. A d6 will decide how usefull the loot is.

- Royal Guard: defend the city. As long as the drawbridge remains open, the gatehouse is used as spawn point for royal reinforcements. If not, they reinforce near the Armoury.
- Black Falcons, Bulls, Vymbournians: defend the city.
- Orks: Destroy the city, Loot the Armoury, kill Alderic.
- French: Loot yellow briks by destroying buildings.
- Rangers: Destroy the city.
- Dragon Guard: Set fire to as many buildings as possible. Loot the Marketplace and Armoury.
