The Kvernian Hero tries to reach for the lance but realizes he's a minifig and his arms don't bend that way.

Those left of the palm tree open fire, but fail to kill thanks to some good parries.

The infantrymen then rush forward onto the Silverwolves, who still had their actions from last round. It results in one broken shield.

The armigeri slashes the giants' shield but can't break it. The antesignani gets hit but his armour holds.

The other Kvernians move towards the Drakloni (one successfully escaping melee with a wolf) and are treated to a round of response fire. However, you can see they rolled rather poorly, even with the officer buffing the crossbows.

The Magi, Arcani and hand cannoneer return fire but have a similar rate of success. My new dice aren't very bloodthirsty yet!

The Silverwolves gang up on the Hero. Most attacks glance off his armour.

He parries the charge of the spearman. The Marksman is still taking aim, however...

It couldn't have been any closer. The +1 Long Ranged weapons get barely beats his armour.

The Wizard of the Great Acorn tries to summon a forest to stop the Draklon advance, but rolls rather poorly and instead creates a bit of shrub that might impede them, slightly.

The Silver Princess tells the warg it's only a flesh wound, and the beast kinda proves her point by lunging at her angrily before collapsing again. Mercifully, she survives.

Without a shield the armigeri is easy pickings for the giant. The antesignani holds on against the elite.

The Magetriarch tries to manipulate the warg, but these beasts aren't easily swayed it seems.

It's a good thing I remembered Heroes can parry with anything, because the attack would've killed her otherwise.

The Reavers charge forward, and the shrub holds them back juuuust enough for them to not be able to triple team the Wizard of the Great Acorn. The one who does get in range misses.

A massive fight breaks out in the south, resulting in an armigeri and an Arcani being blasted, while an elite gets outrolled by an antisignani and perishes.

Reinforcements! These two Praeventores were scouting the area for Kvernia, but now realize they're needed in the fight. These light infantry rush into the fray, brandishing double hand weapons.
(You can also see one of the wolves attacked an Arcani but failed to kill it.)
