The disciple, revealing her true guise as a deadly assassin, shoots the ballista, misses, hits the Magetriarch instead but deals enough plowthrough damage to hit the guy she was fighting as well. D-d-double kill!

The wizard is quite befuddled by the Reaver's continued failed attempts to hit him.
The Silverwolves and Draklon Raiders, both outnumbered 3 to 1 by the Kvernians and hostile towards each other, decide to tactically regroup and fight another day.
The Kvernians wait out the tide and march into the cave, hoping that they'll be on time to provide assistance to the mage who entered it before them.
