Turn 1 - Skion

Elyana has the initiative. She takes to the skies, hovers above her squad, and readies her supernatural weapon.

"You dare stand in my way!?"




From her glaive, a mighty bolt of pure energy emerges, speeding towards Cleetus and his farmhands.




The strike misses its target! Allen Wrench bails out of the way, Jeremiahdediah and Duno are awestruck. Only Cleetus doesn't flinch - he's seen worse.




"Y'all best mosey on away from my land, witch."

Cleetus fires his shotgun at Elyana, but is out of range and deals no damage.




The Skion troopers move up, staying close to cover. They unload on the farmers - Cleetus loses a hand and Duno is disarmed.
All while Skulls Mackenzie is having a good time.




One of the troopers uses the pig pen for cover. Not a good call, since the pigs are aggressive. They charge!




Both of the animals critfail their attack rolls, so they end up wrestling each other.

Turn 1 - SpaceCops

Dasher leads the SpaceCops into the barn.




He emerges on the other side.

While the riot cop strikes a defensive pose, Dasher readies his sniper rifle for a tricky shot .




He yells "drop the gun!" at nobody in particular, and then pulls the trigger.




The shot sails over a bucket...




... right past a bush, barely misses a snake...




... ricochets off a rock...




... and blasts a technobandit right in the face!




"Suspect is down."

The sudden headshot alarms some of the technobandits, and they begin to move up the hill.




The SpaceCops in the barn open fire through the opened doors. Jeremiahdediah is unharmed, but Allen Wrench is shot.

Turn 1 - Studlanders

Bertinator hops into the pig pen, hoping to tame a pig and use it as a mount.




The pig proves stronger than suspected - Bert is wrestled to the ground.
(feat failed)




While their hero struggles in the mud, the S.M.I.L.E. infantry move out. One of them takes a Magikauliflower with her.




The studlanders round the corner. Their officer strikes at Duno but deals no damage. More succesfull are the riflemen, who hose down Jeremiahdediah.

Turn 1 - Iriorians

Nervyr straight up murders Sandy.




This provokes a reaction from the family dog, who attacks an Iriorian but deals no damage.




The Iriorian fighter steps in and eliminates the threat.




3 Droplets move into the farmhouse...




and take up positions at the windows facing the barn.




They open fire on Cleetus, instantly killing him.




Nervyr channels his magikal powers and transforms the farmhouse door into a arcane portal.
"Let's find out the supernatural disposition of this realm!"




From the portal emerges... a spacecow!
"Wtf that's so cute."




The creature appears friendly.
"Can I..... ride? It?"

Nervyr is utterly amazed - the magikal creatures of his homeworld Rehinn only come in the form of eldritch horrors and unspeakable terrors.




As the portal closes, Nervyr mounts the creature.
"Wheeeee!"

Turn 1 - Ze Clankers

Bragallot and the droids move up along the barn.




Mandy, having witnessed her sister get shot, grabs a broom and charges.
But the droid is quick to respond and guns her down.




As the droids take up defensive positions, Brag whips out a comms device. He hacks into the PartyBattleBus' speaker system..

It's Katy Perry suddenly blasting from the speakers at full volume, disrupting the technobandit rave.




One of them is sent into a blind rage. He suspects that a fellow technobandits is behind all this, so he pulls the trigger on him.

"Why do you want to be a fookin' Dee-Jay so fookin' bad, ey?"




Technobro Guy-Manuel de Homem-Briksto is no more.

Turn 1 - Technobandits

The technobandits form a defensive perimeter and await the assault.




Others advance on the hill towards the barn. One of them fires at Dasher, but misses.
Spongelove Craftpants lags behind because his legs are so tiny.




Unit loads a can of Maniak Beer into his cannon. He's hoping to intoxicate the sheep and turn them aggressive towards the invaders.




BOOM!

The barrel is unable to withstand this amount of RT power. It's like the cannon is hit with a rocket-propelled sledgehammer with supersonic speed, and goes off immediately.




The technobandit hardsuit is utterly destroyed.




Meanwhile, AstroMike has entered the partybattlebus and attempts to bring some of the defensive systems back online.




It worked! But not quite. The mounted guns automatically open fire on one of the technobandits, but the shots barely miss the guy.

Slice is a quick thinker - she chops off the guns in an instant.

Turn 1 - Cleetus' Gang

Duno attempts to shove the Studland commander, so he can pick up his knife. But she parries with her sword, chopping off his arm.




Candy runs away from the droids and picks up a scythe laying around.




Only then does she witness the full scale of the ongoing assault.




"Oh mercy, what kind of mayhem done arrived on our doorstep?"
