It was a normal day for immortals



Junior Legionnaire Squad Leader: Ahh, what a great day. Just me, my coffe, my unit and one of the most important artifacts of Khromatik Konflikt. I hope my very small outpost won't get attacked my Eschaos' cavalry and infantry at the same time.

JLSL: Wait, what is that noise?



It's Eschatos' infantry!



And cavalry!

JLSL: I need to call for help.



Random Junior Legionarie: I came here to help you!

JLSQ: No, I meant some better help, like a squad of three junior legionnaires and a marksman, accompanied by the Pyromaniak driving on a tank.



What a koincidence! They are on their way!

Forces:

Immortals: green!
4 junior legionaries and a marksman

Immortals get "The Last Stand" special rule: the first time one of them would die, they instead lose one random limb and continue fighting. This rule is no more once reinforcements arrive.

Immortals reinforcements:
3 junior legionnaires, a marksman, the Pyromaniak and a tank

At the beginning of each turn I'll roll a D6, add turn number and substract 2 from the result. If the roll is 6 or higher the reinforcements arrive

Immortals, turn 1

JLSL: Everybody! Get down!



JLSL: Not you marksman.

Marksman: Allright boss, who do I kill?

JSLS: Buce.



In that moment Buce realized that hiding between legs it's not a good cover.



But his armor is new, and nothing bad happened.

Sikret Agent turn 1

Sikret Agent: A gadged would be very useful right now.



Sikret Agent: Oh right, I have a gadged!



Sikret Agen: Aw, come on...



Pshhhhh

Sikret Agent: Now everybody, GO! Let's see what awaits us in the mist.



Bucephalus turn 1

Buce: HE DARED TO SHOOT ME?



Cavalryman: Here it goes...

Buce: FOLLOW ME! SHOW THESE VERMINS!

Phalus: Neigh

Phalus is the speedest of horses



End of turn 1, overview:

Buce squeezes phalus hard, pushing the air from his lungs and blowing the smoke away

The rest of the troops move up and attack

Immortals turn 2



JLSL: Retreat!



Marksman: I'll get you this time.





Buce is saved by a redshirt, who gets thrown off the horse, but is otherwise unharmed.



Sikret Agent turn 2

Sikret Agent: Time to set off the explosives I planted here earlier.



KABOOM

The explosion clears the smoke.



Impetum Pedite: Where did they go?

Another Impetum Pedite: Look! They are there!

One leggionaire is wounded (I forgot about the last stand rule when I was making this photo, it is fixed later)

Bucephalus turn 2



Buce: Come on Phalus, just like on traning!



Buce takes a big breath, but is out of breath. He won't be able to be a horse for a while.



Meanwhile one cavalryman emabrks his horse, while the rest of the cavalry attacks.



Deqth Robot is able to wound the marksman, the other cavalryman falls from his horse, but thanks to his armour he survives retaliation.

End of turn 2 overwatch

Use phalus as a trampoline to leap to the chest

Everyone else get on your horses and kill the bad guys

Immortals turn 3



JLSL: Everyone, go! Go! Go!



Marksman aims at Sikret Agent



But misses.

Sikret Agent turn 3



Sikret Agent flies on his jetpack towards JLSL, but he misses.



Meanwhile impetum pedites take cover and fire at Deqth Robot.



One shot critfails, one gets deflected by Deqth's shield and the last one doesn't even srcatch him.

Now he is angry.

Bucephalus turn 3



Horseman gets on his horse.



Buce: Phalus, are you ready for a big yeet?

Phalus: Neigh





yeeeet



But Buce misses the target.



Just like one horseman.



Deqth Robot: Look at these poor fuckers.



He kills two impetum pedites.



But one of them gets revived by the medik.

End of turn 3 overviev:

Buce should summon Phalus like Thor's hammer and phalus should definitely smash people to death as he flies through.

Robot start killing the other faction that isn't immortals

horsemen kill immortals

Immortals turn 4



JLSL: No, this isn't being a coward, this is definietely a strategic decision.

Immortals continue their retreat.



Meanwhile "marks"man misses again.

Sikret Agent turn 4



Sikret Agent shoots a junior leggionaire.

Guns may be strong, but the shield is stronger.



Medik is a proffesionalist, he stitches up another pedite, without amputations.



Meanwhile two other pedites attack Deqth Robot.



And with "some" (shitload) luck manage to kill him.



Buce: Phalus! To me!



Buce: Phalus, I'm standing here, not there!

Phalus: You anted me to kill some guys while I fly to you.



Buce: Oh, right.



Cavalry charge!



Resulting in one broken shield and one fatality (overkill was too much for The Last Stand rule)

End of turn 4

and his name is



PYROMANIAK

Reinforcements have arrived.

Buce should use phalus to horse kick something at the pyro's face

Turn 5 Immortals



Pyromaniak: Go, get Buce!

Random Legionaire 2: Will you go with us?

Pyromaniak: I have more Important things to do.

Random Legionaire 2: Like what?

Puromaniak: Like standing here and looking cool.

Random Legionaire 2: Understandable, have a nice day.



Legionaires charge charge at Buce, but only two manage to get close enough.



One of them misses and Buce parries the second attack.

Buce: You gonna need more than some nameless soldiers to kill me, Pyromaniak!



Pyromaniak is mad and he wants to set something on fire. (Like always)



... and he sets himself on fire



Meanwhile JLSQ runs behind the tank



Tank takes aim...



KABOOM

One horseman and a wounded legionaire got annihilated, Sikret Agent managed to dodge and second horseman lost his horse.

Turn 5 Sikret Agent



Medik and one pedite build a "fortification", but they are no mekaniks.



Two other impetum pedites steal Deadliest Infantry Weapons from Dead Robot, effectively changing into defendenti pedites.



But they are too far away to hit anything.



Sikret Agent: Hmmm, what else gadets I have...



Sikret Agent: Oh right! Nexus mine!



He throws it in front of the tank.

Turn 5 Bucephalus



A man attacks one legionaire with his spear.



Shields are strong, but the damage is stronger.



Remeber kids: never stand behind a horse.



It is crucial that to read the next line in the style of anime charachters shouting their abilities

Buce: Horsekick!



Legionaire falls directly on Pyromaniak.



Pushing him off the tank and dying from fire

Double Overwiev (Note to myself: don't let players run away)

Use a flying leap to get to the chest
I don't know who else I have but kill the baddies

Turn 6 Immortals

BANG



Marksman nearly kills Sikret Agent.

Pyromaniak: BUCE!



Buce: Oh? You are approaching me? Instead of running away you are coming right at me?



Pyromaniak: I can't hug you without getting closer.

Buce: what.



Meanwhile JLSL hides the OT chest, sips her coffe



but is too slow to get to melee.



Meanwhile leggionaires fail to harm Buce.



Tank drives forward.



KABOOM the nexus mine explodes and tank receives 1 size damage.



It doesn't stop the tank from shooting at pedites, but because of the miss and cover only one dies.

Pedites and medik charge forward.



Sikret Agent: Fools! You thought that the nexus mine explodes only once?

Sikret Agent: I'll shoot the tank myself.



The effect was truly over the top.



The nexus mine didn't explode second time.

Phalus makes a mighty leap!
