ToOC: Rounds 8 and Beyond! (It's Over!)

The game's over! It's all come down to the last three factions, duking it out over the ruined town, and only one fig survived the fight, which is saying something, considering all the Mediking. Who won the Council Spot? Read on to find out!
The Fire Chief is revived by a very lucky Fireman, who pulled off an impromptu Medic roll.
Zombie Lincoln roof-hops to fire on Pantsthoth.
One leg down! Only one more leg to go. No Zombie effect, though. Is he immune?
Captain Spip revives the Survivor Hero, adding one more to Natayla's mob.
The Dalek is less lucky.
Where the other students sort of failed, the Future-Student tries to succeed, by possessing Brikthoth, or what remains, anyways.
The One Leg of Brikthoth listens, and goes over to the roof.
Kick! Down goes Lincoln!
Then, the Pants make their own attack, smooshing the Whitman hero.
The Survivor Hero tries to recoup losses, by reviving the Medic.
Spip fails his attack.
The Firemen finish off Brikthoth! The God is returned to his slumber, only to rise again when the stars are right. The two let out a victory cheer.
The Student tries to fireball Spip, but fails.
The Whitman Medic revives a Blue Merc. troop. Hopefully, he won't have another weapons malfunction. Another is also revived at some point.
Surprise! Spip ambushes the Student with his über laser, taking down the last of the School.
Crazy Bread is revived by the Firemen. The scene is set for the final battle in Brikhart. Scores at this point are roughly even, as Brikthoth was worth a lot, so it really will come down to the Last Man Standing bonus.
The medical company advances.
The Greenwich Hero is revived to do battle once more. She retreats with Spip to behind the arm.
Spip and the Wizard meet very untimely deaths as Crazy Bread bursts over the arm, using his lightsaber to great effect!
Captain Black seeks to avenge the other Captain, and he takes up Spip's laser and blasts Crazy Bread into smithereens, with help from a troop. Another troop suffers another weapon failure and dies.
Squidman is not revived.
Captain Black goes down to the Firemen's attacks. No more Heroes remain for the Whitmans.
Squidman is revived.
The Last Blue Merc. shoots the grunt Fireman. Things look grim on Dilanski's side.
Shots are fired. The Medic picks up the über laser.
Water can be lethal, too. The Last Blue Merc. is now the Former Last Blue Merc.
Squidman leaps onto the Fireman Hero! Is he dead?
Well, Squidman is.
More combat goes on. The Fireman picks up the lightsaber.
The Medic is downed by said lightsaber. It's now a one-on-one Hero fight.
The end is only somewhat anticlimactic. The Greenwich fireballs the Fireman, and all that heat-resistant gear is useless to stop her.
Victory: Natayla AF as the Whitman/Greenwich/Blue Merc./Survivors/Squidman/Zombie Lincoln coalition! Congratulations!
Epilogue
The following day, Crazy Bread and the rest were revived. The Greenwich Wizard wanted to take the council seat herself, as the last fig, but the Whitman Hero wanted it, too. Crazy Bread decided to split the job, so they both could have it. Those who helped win the battle as revivees were also honored.
The city moved on from there to become the greatest empire on the face of the planet, lasting a thousand years beyond that battle, conquering vast amounts of land and doing millions of battles. But that's another story entirely.
