A volley is fired at Xatriya...

Image

...and she dies unceremoniously.

Right then- if Samuel doesn't show up- have the civilians on the roof kill as many soldiers as possible before getting wiped out. Have Joan punch the wall down to make a ramp for the rest of the civilians.

Rodrigo puts his saber in a cannon for ammunition and fires it at governor Studhead. The gunners fire a regular shot at Studhead. Two musketeers fire at the islanders coming around the corner, one melee pirate remains to cover their asses. Pistoliers and remaining musketeer move inside and prepare to fire upon any imperials coming down to defend. The remaining melee pirates sprint to grab the money box and carry it outside, towards the ship. The ship probably can't move anymore with the mast down, otherwise it should sail to in front of the bastion.

Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Not bad but I'm not ashamed to admit that I prefer Henry V to the Braveheart speech.
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day

My favorite is churchill on the constant bombing and defeat in central Europe.
Piltogg knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.

Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour
