Power of Destruction Turn 5

Rolls were rhapsodic, and component damage is fun.

Apollyon

Image

Storm Titan moved and tried to zzap Infernus, but failed.

Image

Swordsmen attack Cannontroll, who loses 1 hp and an arm.
Knights failed to do anything, wasn't worth doing a pic.

Image

Apollyon charges towards Beaky...

Image

But to avoid falling off due to stump collison, he leaps off his steed who moves to safety.

Image

Instead of direct damage, he clinges into the demon's chain...

Image

... and by the power of the Rune he pulls it which such force that it causes Beaky to topple.

Image

Right onto the spiky stump! Fall damage, reduced armor, overkill rolls... all delicate rules in action! Kinda gory-awesome, if you ask me... Btw Beaky loses 2 hp in the process.

Fink

>note to FISH!!!: sorry, Warboss lost that hp when CG threw him off<

Image

Mace-skellies gang on the Warboss but fail miserably.

Image

The abominations weren't luckier either.

Warboss

Image

Warboss uses a groundpound to knock the skeletons off their feet.

Image

Then both he and his arrowboys fall back, the latter manage to kill Rot Walker after doing so.

Image

Orkboys chop off another knight...

Image

Then decide to hijack the fallens armor and their former steeds. Intéressant.

Shaman:

Image

Beaky pulled himself together, badly bleeding.

Image

His blood poured into the hollow stump, creating a taintful pool.

Image

He picked up the artifact again, and started to leave the field.

Image

Cannontroll tried to avenge his lost grasper but failed.

Fabio:

Image

With a heroic sprint, our favorite hero swoops to Apollyon.

Image

'Hey, catch! Beverages would only make me fat and lose my charm!'
'Thank you.'

Image

Then the warmachine moved and headshot Beaky!

Image

Image

Sadly the fiend fell without any flattening results.

Image

The combined squad decimates the grave guard and moves onward.

Ghoul's Remains:

Image

Crossbow skeletons would've fired at Apollyon, but coincidentally, Beaky's wing gives him full cover, blocking line of sight.
Also, the glommox fired at storm titan but didn't do damage, not worth to be documented.

Image

Infernus charges at the Titan...

Image

... knocking him over...

Image

... right onto the warmachine, squishing the crew and breaking it. Titan loses 1 hp too.

Image

So that was turn 5, overview:

Image

Kill Chart:

Apollyon - 22
Keldoclock - 12
FISH!!! - 16
Robot Monkey - 14
Silverdream - 11
silent-sigfig - 17
Warhead - 5
Bragallot - 3

(orange players ended their game, and are only kept for the record)

Why is it that Infernus always does his best work lying down? Great result on that attack btw.

I think the new ruin priest is working out well, it'll be interesting when we first meet. That Fabio creature reminds me of Prince Charming in Shrek, what a doofus. He should get bonus stats for acting in character like that.

GODDAMMIT!

you'll be hearing from my demon lawyer about this!

I think that's all gone rather well. Except for Beaky dieing, I was hoping he'd,

A) Head towards some off my Orkz.

B) Do a feat of some discription.

Otherwise everything else is looking interesting...

"Hello, Heltar, Daemonic attorney in Blood. Mr Heltar is busy at the moment, please leave your whining complaint after the beep..." *beep*

I reluctantly think the Orks have done quite well this game, on account that their not as dead as they usually are by turn 4 or 5.

Why thank you, Warhead.

*beep* Hello, I'd like to say that the demon DemonCo. Sent me seems to have malfunctioned. I'd like to file a lawsuit.

You forgot DemonCo.'s main buyer policy:

No complains after checking out!

DaemonCo would like to thank you for your pathetic snivelling complaint. We would also like to remind you of our gore spattered razor edged guarantee that all sales are final once a customer has signed the standard soul acceptance contract which clearly states in interdimensional Sanskrit...
DaemonCo Contract: Complaints - 3:21:4a

...DaemonCo will not be held responsible in the event of poor leadership or bad luck.
Thank you and writhe in pain and torment forever more.

Best turn yet. I laughed hard at being shielded by Beaky's wings.

Come to think of it, the exact same thing happened with the titan and the warmachine back at Skull Mountain, if you remember. History indeed repeats itself!

Titan is in serious need of a snuggle-whistle or something; all of these Infernus-Titan pics look naughty...
