Round 1

Undead NPC's

This round the White Dragon Knights got lucky, and the skeletons failed to execute any of them.

Image

The flames on the pyre however gradually crept higher...

Image

The warlock ran and tried to set the hill on fire.

Image

The wraith's spell backfired however, and his firesword went out as a result.

Image

With an ominous growl, the creature summoned a new one.

Image

The skeleton champion (hero) moved towards the encroaching heroes.

Image

The other pyre was set on fire.

Image

The giant skeleton moved to block the Furbeast's approach, already drawing his sword back for a swing...

Image

The pike skeletons around the prison grouped together,

Image

and formed a squad.

Image

More skeletons flocked towards the enemy.

Image

The Nightmare also rolled forward slowly.

Sir Garth - Predator

Image

Garth knew he had little time to lose, and spurred his horse into a charge.

Image

This was the moment the champion had been waiting on, however.

Image

The lance throw nearly killed the knight's horse (-1 HP), and caused it to stumble, yet Garth somehow straightened himself up and continued the charge...

Image

... but he got some bad rolls, missed, and crashed down amidst his enemies (the horse is still alive, but disrupted).

Image

The dragon knight survived the falling damage but found himself in a precarious position.

Image

The first attack landed on his shield.

Image

It got more ugly when the champion attacked. Garth barely managed to wedge his pike in between himself and the lethal strike (there was a fair amount of crits) and parried just enough so the damage equaled his armour.

Sir Konrad - Falk

Image

"GET AWAY FROM HIM YOU FIENDS!" Sir Konrad bellowed as he and his men loosed a volley.

Image

Their aim was true, a nearby skeleton was destroyed...

Image

... and those attacking Garth almost suffered the same fate. The champion has taken 1 HP of damage (1 left).

Image

"I see you haven't ran, Konrad!"

Image

"Someone has to keep your ass alive boy!"

Image

"Give me that" Konrad said as he 'borrowed' a sword off one of his men.

Image

His throw nearly hit a dragon knight in the face, but in the end it did free them up.

Image

The half-starved knights are in no condition to fight, but they sure can run.

Miranda - Rev. Sylvanus

Image

Miranda ran to the edge of the slope, and thanks to the height she's just in range for a shot...

Image

She made it count: the skeleton with the torch's bones were shattered by the bolt.

Image

Miranda then continued to fire a magical arrow which disappeared into the giant skeleton's eye socket. It blinded him and cost him the response action he had prepared for the round.

Yeah, looks good. Nice posing and real pretty action shots (In mid combat, jumps, you know, that stuff.)

Would it be possible to get an overview? Also, do you want orders now or after the furbeasts' turn?

Mudi - Silverdream

Image

Bash in their heads
Throw their bodies to the floor
Then clobber them some more
And feed their corpses to the rats
Mudi sang, but it only irritated the Furbeasts further (-1 skill).

Furbeasts - Alphacon

Image

The Kaadus then rode Mudi into battle and he fired his musket, but the giant skeleton wasn't impressed.

Image

Once close enough, the beasts attacked the skeleton. It parried one blow, but the second got him (-1 HP, 3 remain).

Meanwhile, the sound of a galloping horses could be heard across the plain...

Brockram - Zahru II

Image

"Don't fear! The First Marshal does not allow his men to die!"

Brockram's presence steeled the resolve of his men: it will be harder for the skeletons to execute them next turn (temporary +1 armour).

Image

Brockram: "Aha! You must be the leader of this lot, a fine enemy for the First Marshal."

Warlock: "Hah. Another Dragon Knight commits himself to the flame. You will make a good wraith."

"... and hopefully a more pretty one than you too!"

Image

After his own attack had been parried, Brockram received a riposte, which stranded on his shield...

Image

... but the resulting fire damage almost killed him (-1 HP).

"Blimey!"

I've already tried separating the dice that hated you (fire damage is only 1d6 if the attack roll is higher than a 4 and it did 16 on this go, go figure...) from the rest, but that left me with little options.
