The President's Speech (Turn 6)

Sorry for the time it took to post this turn. I've been very busy lately and couldn't do this faster.


RIOTERS (heavyfishcannon)

The rioters killed two more Noxsec units while making their way to the President.

The two units trapped inside the reactor have had time to prep themselves. Wearing the hazmat suit found inside, one minifig passes through the flames and gets out of the reactor. He carries two plutonium rods.

He throws one rod at the heavy trooper in front of him and knocks him down.
The trooper is now unconscious and will need either a medic or a lucky roll to wake up.
The second rioter gets out of the reactor through the broken fan.

He throws his knife and kills the Noxarian sniper.
Image

A rioter throws his shovel at the heavy trooper from Deep Space Management.
The Trooper survives but is disrupted.
This leaves the Spokesperson free to move forward toward the stage. He uses some scraps as a podium.
An Officer reacts but the hero survives the hit.

The Spokesperson increases the volume of his megaphone and tries to get the crowd to join him one more time.
"I said THE CAKE IS A LIE!! Don't be fooled by Noxsec! Their goal is to keep you under their control!"

Success! The crowd stops listening to the President and joins the rioters!
Image

A brawl ensues..
Image

Noxsec reacts and kills two members of the crowd.
Image

A child is crying in front of a riot officer.
"I LOST MY MOMMY!!!"
The officer is disrupted.
Image

More shoving..
Image

At the back, some members of the crowd start throwing objects at the President.
Image

A large debris reaches the President and makes him fall down the stage.
Image

OBJECTIVE COMPLETED: The speech has been disrupted!
Image



RAIDERS (Alex)

The sniper tries to kill the pilot of the interceptor but he misses.
Image

"Could use some help here.."
The Hero fires a sequence of shots in the air.
The startup sound of small engines is heard from nearby.
Image

Then, unable to get a line of sight with the pilot, he decide to concentrate his firepower on the flight stabilizers of the interceptor but the ship resists.

A group of bikers enters the area!
The Raiders gets three dirt bikers armed with Kalashnikovs and a suicide bike packed with dynamite.

SPACE PIRATES (Silverdream)
The light frigate makes a u-turn and opens fire on the interceptor but its firepower is not enough to pierce the ship's armor.

The second frigate of the pirates would like to help but something holds it back..
Image

"Where do you think you're going?"
Image



NOXSEC (mgb519)

The troops around the stage struggle to retake control of this area.
Image

A sergeant kills a civilian with his combat shotgun.
Image

A medic resurrects a sergeant while the other one previously resurrected is still a bit dazed and can't do much this turn.
Image

The second medic tries to resurrect another sergeant but the operation fails and his target turns into a Zombie!
Image

Zombies.. someone's better stop them before they infect the whole place.
Image

Two Officers combine their fire to take down the Spokesperson but once again, a rioter redshirts and the Hero is saved.
Image

Three units combine their fire to kill the leader of the Raiders but, due to bad damage rolls, this is not enough to take him down.
Image

The Heavy Trooper on the roof shoves the Beast through the fan.
Image

Given that the fan is not running because the facility is out of power, the Beast simply falls through the fan and crashes on the floor inside the building.
Image

Two Troopers are working to make their way through the debris to fight the savages while the remaining member of the medical team continues to remove organs from the savage.
Image

Agent Artin gets on the roof and aims for the cosmic horror. On his way, he hears a whistle..
Image

"Hello sexy!"
Artin stops and looks at her, wondering if she's real or not this time..
Nevertheless, he is distracted one more time and completely forgets what he was going to do.
Image



SAVAGES (Silent-sigfig)
The operator sets the catapult on a collision course with the Cyborgs, runs to grab his weapons and jumps on the roof.

He engages agent Artin in close combat.
Image

The catapult rams one Cyborg. The Cyborg dies but his physical opposition stops the catapult.
Image

Overkill!
Image

The Beast gets up, grabs an ax and kills the last medic in the room.
Image

Then, he and McMonkey enter the armory.
Image

McMonkey checks the inventory:
-4 Submachine guns
-1 Fully loaded rocket launcher
-2 Additional rockets
-2 Pipebombs
-4 grenades

TARS (IVhorseman)

The cosmic horror lifts the frigate in the air..
Image

..and throws it at the Machine gun squad.
Image

The frigate takes two members of the squad with it out of the map.
The Pilot failed to eject himself properly and was also thrown out of the map.
Image

The Master exits the building and uses his teleporter to get right next to the President.
Luckily for the President, an officer redshirts and saves him.
Image

The Golems follow their Master outside.
One of them kills an advisor and one civilian with a single swing of his powerful OTC Beamsword.
Image

The Cosmic Horror walks over the fence and throw one sergeant in the air.
The sergeant crashed on the shipwreck and died.
Image

The Cyborgs continue to fire at the Rifle Squad, killing one more unit.
Image

Two small transport enters the area.
Image


DEEP SPACE MANAGEMENT (piltogg)
The Machine Gun Squad kills one Golem.
The rocket launcher is reloaded.
Image

The Rifle Squad kills one more Cyborg. Only one remain.
Image

The Interceptor hovers to the right and destroys one of the bike.
The fire on the frigate is losing intensity.
Image

Nadia Blaze decides to attack the Cosmic horror.
She runs and jumps to get to her..
Image

Unfortunately, the Horror catches her and bring her to her level.
"I could kill you easily.. but I still need you.."
Image

The Cosmic Horror uses her yellow transparent staff to create an energy matrix and traps Nadia inside.
"Just wait there until this is over. Don't worry. You'll be safe."
Image



OBJECTIVES UPDATE
RIOTERS:
-Disrupt the speech COMPLETED
-Occupy the stage until the end of the battle as a sign of protest against the authority of the Order of the Equinox.

RAIDERS:
-Steal the artifact
-Secret objective (1)

SPACE PIRATES:
-Kill the President
-Do not kill the corrupted advisor
-Secret objective (1)

ORDER OF THE EQUINOX:
-Allow for the President to complete his speech FAILED
-Secure the artifact
-Secure the area
-Keep the President alive until evacuation or until the end of the battle.

SAVAGES:
-Be the team with the most kills. Rank after 6 turns: 2nd

TARS:
-Load the artifact inside one of the transport and take it away from this place

DEEP SPACE MANAGEMENT:
-Secure the artifact
-Evacuate the President inside the remaining interceptor or keep him alive until the battle end.

Any significance or backstory toe the "TARS" faction filling the role of the alien menace? They are coming across as very badass.

I have some backstory in mind that I am trying to develop and that I hope to integrate later. Basically the Tars are very strong and use nice tech.

They were inspired by rats (spell rat backward and add a S for plural). They are very tough, intelligent and impressive creatures that tend be greatly underestimated but their name might change as most of you probably think about the sticky black substance..
