The Prof has apparently been busy! FELCian forces killed a Sharkhead experiment last week. It destroyed one of our outpost asteroid bases before we contained it.

One thing is sure, these sightings and attacks though seeming random will all be part of a master plan of Moriartian design.

UnITE Intelligence report
Ghost Ops. Division
(Unconfirmed further investigation needed)

Our sources and in-tell of one of the Prof.'s clones in a Zengarn sector had warranted surveillance based on the unexplained break in communication from three cruisers and a burst transmission with a shark face, it's either him or the flying sharks are back, anyway the last report of his whereabouts was at Dracus III a peach planet claimed earlier back when the UnITE could give a F#$@ about the Zengar.

5 new ships where found in orbit around the planet, 3 were confirmed to be our lost cruisers but the other 2 were unknown.

All ships were badly damaged if not destroyed with sighs of escape pod launches.

it is unclear were the escape pods went but we hope it was to the planet to join the damned tech hoard.

well, I'm not saying it's a bad thing, as it is definitely a good thing. just amazes me that you have so many little armies.

It amazes me too.

I would imagine that building a larger number of smaller would be a good thing if you plan on running on-forum games.

I think it is cool the armies like this. As I am at the start of my army building, I may follow the example and build more then one smaller army.

Right now I am currently only building one force but the UnITE force with was mentioned earlier on another and this post will have several forces within it while the Damned Tech are just a collection of unorganized units that specialize in different fields (build to lose but will give you a hell of a time before doing so)

I have to do this- I've got too many random minis to do anything else. At last count, I had about ten factions with 7 to 20 units in each.

S'why I call my armies "Factions" instead of armies.

Comes in handy when my gaming group gets together.

I imagine it alos helps stop you from growing board with any one army. If you loose interest in one, you can shift to another.

I am likeing this idea of a number of smaller "factions" more and more. :D

Well, that too, but I'm going to bump my current faction of interest -The FELC- up from 10 units to about 40 as soon as I convince the rents that buying individual briks online is a good thing.

Heh.

Haha, that's why I was glad some stores took cash when I was a kid. No need to ask!

I agree with you about the "factions" idea. Reminds me so much of when I used to play the Mechwarrior miniatures game. And later it was great that they introduced faction ability cards and alliances. Small army building helps keep your interest going and to just keep creating and building. Now I'm so tempted to go on a CrackLink shopping spree

I have one army that is way to big to actually use the whole thing unless I met up with some other people with big armies on the forums, as well as two "faction sized" armies. That works out pretty well for me.
