Oh that's easy, if you declare Arkbrik's rules on OT equipment, all those chainsaws would be useless.

Fair enough Lord Mercat. The thread was not to show your army as a whole. I get it.

But yes, I would like to see the rest of your army. Even if it were a single group shot of the whole army would be fun. More pictures are always good in my mind.Lord Mercat wrote: Anyway, I have a bunch more figures I haven't taken any pictures of yet, if anyone is interested in seeing any of them I can add a few more pics to the OP.

Okay, So then, second round of pics. Now, please bear in mind, my army is not yet finished, specifically I need more mass produced weapon variety, and I don't have all of my units built yet, so what you are seeing here is what I currently have built regarding my army. I have more unique figures, but will post those at a later date. Anyway, first up we have the regular Cannon Fodder type trooper, the base grunt:

Shown wielding my faction's stock heavy laser assault rifle, based off of many designs I have seen here on the forums, and elsewhere. And to show that, yes I do have an actual army, and not just single figures, here is the best group shot I could muster, the big box o' grunts:

I unfortunately don't have any large baseplates or setups with which to show off a large number of figs at the same time, so this is the best I can do right now in regards to that. There are approx 130ish figs in that box, total. However, those figs actually will not remain grunts for long, I have the parts already to upgrade them to Heavy Troopers, one of which I have up next. (Don't fear, I am not going to axe the fodder, I have armors and helmets for about 300ish more, but I don't have the actual figs yet.):
Heavy Trooper shown wielding heavy plasma Shotgun:

And the back view, because all heavies should have the CC option, IMO, at least:

Please note that, in order to avoid blandness in numbers, My soldiers, as you may have noticed from the box, actually have a wide variety of different faces mixed in with the base smileys, adding uniqueness and the like to the main units. Also please note, that in the final stage, I will have a much greater variety of weapons for the troops, and not just the assault rifle and shotgun- all heavies will have the same sword though. Anyway, next up is a Templar of the Dominion, tough, heavy armored warriors trained to command soldiers from the front lines, they will eventually have a unique weapon, but I have not yet designed it. However they will all have the dual scimitars for CC on their backs, in addition to jetpacks so they may attack from above and relay enemy troop positions back to the soldiers under their command:

And next up we have one of the Barons under Fealty to Marchioness Reglay, Baron Gestalt Von Flugenspeil the Third, shown wielding family heirloom, the Blödenheim, and a one handed flamer I designed (yes, this fig is entirely purist):

And then Next up, we have something I thought would be fun to post, a few of the custom weapons I have designed, but have not designated to a particular fig yet, a variety of (mostly) close combat weapons including, but not limited to, laser swords, energy scythes, laser lances/polearms, a brickarms sniper rifle with 20% more RT, a Graviton Hammer forged of Pure Pink Sparkle Radiation, and a pair of GT CHAINSAW NUNCHUCKS:

EDIT- Whoops, meant to put this guy up as well, for all of you who prefer something a bit more "hardboiled" than the fancy anime style most of my chars have, I present to you reknowned hitman *I have no name yet* here, shown wielding his 11 barreled super shotgun, the Decimator:

EDIT 2: Wow, I am being seriously forgetful here, I should stop staying up all hours of the night, anyway, last fig to post, this is my commando unit, armed with *insert class of gun here* and a laser knife for CC, also has a jetpack for when flight is neccessary. Unfortunately I only have about 5 of these guys as both the helmets and the torsos I use are exceedingly rare:

And last but not least, a project I have been working on, and the main reason I have no space with which to showcase my army as of yet, it has a lot of work left on it, but the frame is completely finished. I would go into a longer description, but I think it's pretty self explanatory
:

Anyway, I have more, but the rest I'm gonna save for later. If you would like a different angle, more pictures, a better description or something else for anything I have already posted in this topic however, I will do my best to oblige.

It's too late, "Galaxia" is already taken. But I like "Ernie," it shows that he's a ruler without a chip on his shoulder. Fancy titles and intimidating names are for emperors who feel like they've still got something to prove.Lord Mercat wrote:Well, Natalya, I am not particularly attached to either the king's name or the name of the galactic dominion. If anyone else has a better suggestion that I like, I will change the names.
There's so much to love in this thread, it's hard to pick out individual details to highlight. I do love that OTC pegleg and those GTC nunchucks.

GTCs are rare enough as it is. Why destroy some of the few that there are?
Because now I have the world's only pair of GTC Nunchucks.
And, Galaxia is taken? Damn, since when did this happen? Oh well. Also, as to Ernie, I think that looking at the way he put it, Stubby is right, he doesn't need a fancy or intimidating name, I have enough characters with those already. Ernie will do just fine. I am however still looking for a decent galaxy kingdom name though, the "Ernaeic Dominion" just doesn't sit too well on my tongue.

This is awesome. And it seems you have Germanic names for your troops and have both quality and quantity. Third Alliance?
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway
