Yep, the small flyers are MOC, mostly. I wanted to turn the Atlantis set from an underwater army to a retro-futuristic one, so I had no use for the hand-held things they had in individual character packs. Also, I hated the little "walker" yellow-and-red (why did they have to change the color scheme mid-release?!) mechs. So I turned them both into unmanned drone bots.

You could try setting up a very small yet interesting scenario. About five figs or so on each side, no vehicles, and maybe leave some sweet weapons lying around. Things that explode are good, and interesting scenery is also always a plus. Hell, you could probably have a pretty good brikwar within/around the base structure for the USSSR!jorgevorg wrote:IPeople at work are only interested in Warhammer 40K / Fantasy or Warmachine / Hordes, which, too, are great games but certainly do not help my Brikwars issue.
Look around the room for someone who's trying to join in on a game, but didn't bring anything to play with. This is who we call a "sucker."

I think lego always beats warhammer games.

Re: U.S.S.S.R.
Ah, another Atlantis fan I see =^.^= They do make for some neat space units and vehicles.
I like what you've done. There's great cohesion, uniformity, and everything is really polished. You've spent a lot of time developing the lore behind your army which is cool.
So it's not all 100% custom MOC stuff... it's still well done. Now you must do this army great justice and send them forth to Brik Wars!

*sigh* I suppose two people can't come up with the same idea without it being 4channed in a hurry. I should have known better.Silverdream wrote:This new has been trying to replace you. All he does is talk shit about you and post his non-MOCs.Cpt. Zipps wrote:THE FUCK HAPPENED SINCE I LEFT?

Re: U.S.S.S.R.
or you could have done some lurking, and know that there is allready a Usssr here. and altered the name or the force acordingly.
Re: U.S.S.S.R.
I suppose you're right. There is no potential situation in which two adults could agree to share a name for a LEGO-based tabletop army. I should have done my due diligence. Brikwars is serious business!
Wait, no it's not. Brikwars a silly and fun tabletop war game with heavy emphasis on booty bothered avoidance with really excellent, flexible rules allowing virtually anything to happen.
With respect to established intellectual property of the "USSSR" brand and to Zipps, however, I hereby officially relinquish any claims of association with the "USSSR" and re-brand my "Non-MOC" army as "The New Atlantis", unless, of course, someone on this forum have thought of it before.
Problem solved. Lock the thread.

Re: U.S.S.S.R.
