I had always dabbled with the idea of doing a fantasy RPG. I will probably never do one (If I had the time, energy, and space there are other BW projects that would take priority). In spite of that, I have just been table scapping random figs and groups that I feel would work for an RPG so I've decided to just dump them all here for your viewing pleasure.

Yeah I tried something like that with the Crimson Crusade but long term player commitment and your own time are usually the limiting factors.

next time i play d&d i intend to use minifigs instead of miniatures and build legit modular dungeons for players to explore
it's going to be an insane amount of work but i have to try it

I think at least using lego for walls, objects, and some terrain pieces (large rocks, trees, ect.) is doable.

I converted to minifigs instead of miniatures a long time ago and I can tell you from experience that its totally worth it. Minis got nothing on Lego and I even enjoy the hobby of painting them. So do it.
As for terrain, I'd suggest small modulars as well. But if you've got the patience and parts budget to build a dungeon, go for it.
