A GMG "Guardian" squad equipped with the advanced EMILE (Exo Modular Infantry Loadbearing Equipment) advances in a V formation across an obsidian plain.
The Geodesian Mining Guild formed the Guild Guardians and the Guild Sentinels in order to secure and protect the assets, personnel, and locations critical to the GMG's operations.
Guild Sentinels (not pictured) are the security force tasked with protecting mining operations on a day-to-day basis. Mine sites, convoys, local policing actions are all handled by the Guild Sentinels.
Guild Guardians are the elite defenders of the Guild, its Members, The City, and all other Mining Guild interests that require a more “aggressive” form of policy enforcement.

Although small in number the Guild Guardians are an elite force and as such are provided with the best training and equipment the Mining Guild has access to. This is exemplified by the new "EMILE" (Exo Modular Infantry Loadbearing Equipment) combat suit. With a design based on mining rigs such as the "EMHEP" (Exo Modular Heavy Equipment Platform) this load bearing equipment allows the user to wear heavy armor on his/her person without impending speed on the battlefield. It also allows for the mounting of weapon systems and accessories that may not be available to a standard infantry unit. This comes in at a reasonable economic cost as units are designed to be modular, adapting to different mission needs.

This Commander prefers a close range fight and has thus equipped his Exo with scythe like blades and he carries a shield to augment his heavy armor.

Equipped with a Recoiless Rifle this Guardian ensures dominance over enemy vehicles and light structures.

This Heavy Machine Gun equipped Guardian provides an extra dose of firepower on the battlefield.

Some planners questioned the decision to put a stealthy, quiet, sniper into an expensive, heavy suit of power armor with thrusters and a huge sniper rifle attached but in the end the shear awesomeness factor won out. Finding snipers willing to learn to fly up to advantageous perches is a task in itself but once they become use to the idea it might just work.
