Unified German Republic

Post by Joshua » Fri Oct 22, 2021 5:48 pm

The Unified German Republic, UGR for short, is one of several large nations on a relatively isolated planet. They have not had outside contact from the rest of the Brikverse, and are technologically in the mid-19th century. After being divided for more than two centuries, the German states banded together and formed the URG. They are a militaristic nation, having to defend themselves from their opportunistic neighbors who would gladly annex territory to grow their own nation.

There are two squads of three regular infantry, one machine gunner, and an officer. Regular infantry are armed with the Mauser K98k rifle. This squad's machine gunner is armed with a ZB-30 light machinegun.

And last but not least, a experimental Panzerung Rahmen II (armor frame). These heavy combat suits have proven to be very effective at harassing enemy positions and as mobile front-line tanks to soak up enemy fire while providing support to normal infantry divisions. Armed with a Panzerfaust, chainsword, and a modified MG 81 configured for a magazine instead of being belt-fed.

Comments and criticism welcome!

I like the angles on that halftrack. What's it look like underneath?

Thank you. It's a mess and I'd rather not take it apart. Sorry!

Nice!
Great half-track as well. Is it your design?
And can it fit minifigures?
You know, for shenanigans :D

Sadly, no it's not my design. I got the instructions off of this site.

And nope, it can't fit minifigures. All of the inside space is used to create the cool angles.

The Opel Blitz III truck is a workhorse for the UGR, transporting valuable supplies and troops to the front lines, as well as serving as mobile hospitals and radio outposts.

As some one who is a big fan of old model trucks I approve of this build.

Unified German Republic - Update

Post by Joshua » Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:54 pm

The StuG III Ausf.A was originally designed as a direct infantry support vehicle, but now also fills the roll as a tank destroyer. It utilizes a modified Panzer III chassis, and has a low profile compared to most other UGR armored fighting vehicles.
