[BM23] More Eliphaser Battlepack entries

Post by Eliphaser » Tue May 30, 2023 5:01 pm

- both are new factions -

Molar Federation Hardsuit patrol

This little team of my main faction, the Molar Federation (no actual relation with teeth). is comprised of two regular infantrymen, a demolition specialist, and most importantly, a Caracol-type hardsuit and its pilot.

The patrol here has engaged with some peaceful protesters (dangerous terrorists) that were completely unarmed (someone provided them with rayguns of completely unknown origins), and used their extensive diplomatic skills (assault rifles and hardsuit autocannon) to defuse the situation (kill everyone).

The infantrymen themselves are armed with standard assault rifles, common across the entire federation, and the specialist is armed with a personal defence weapon, and a fairly typical anti-tank rocket launcher.

Designed for urban combat, the Caracol-type Hardsuit is a respectable and somewhat durable weapon, thanks to its relatively thick armour, autocannon and knife, and is serving in large quantities amongst the Molar Federation infantry to this day. The only people really complaining about it are the engineering and maintenance crews, noting how often it falls apart and needs repairs and replacement parts.

This battlepack contains a good diversity of forces for a Molar Armoured Infantry group - spare parts include enough parts to make the left leg grey, or different colours depending on the squad or platoon it is part of. By default shown with squad colours.

More Hardsuit information below.

The head protection can open, revealing the pilot!

The hardsuit opens for ease of access to install or remove the pilot from the suit!

The back of the hardsuit features storage for the pilot's backup weapon!

Height comparison of the suit next to the infantry of this fireteam. It can fit in larger buildings without too many difficulties, and provides fairly compact and mobile light support.

The Molar Federation will one day receive an actual army post instead of mere pictures on the discord, and thus in the meantime this will do. I'll add for the jury that the hardsuit design here isn't really new for the battlepack contest, as I've made it originally for my actual infantry squad, it's simply just the first time it ever appears on the forum.

Brotherhood Battlepack

The Brotherhood of Tod is a dangerous faction. Built upon various terrorist organisations and spreading thanks to their capacity to Extract Cyberium Crystals, the Brotherhood of Cod has been able to establish itself as a strong fighting force, threatening the GDI (Gobal Defence Innovative).

Famous for using light vehicles, this Brotherhood of Not patrol is here seen patrolling through a Tiberdumb Crystal field, after slaughtering a small fireteam of the GDI (Gum-ball Defence Inactive) with a lightweight buggy, a fairly common sight around the world these days.

Image

This particular team here is comprised of three riflemen, including a team leader, all armed with bullpup rifles, and a specialist, armed with an RPG and a pistol.

Image

The set includes: A Machine gun Buggy, Three riflemen, A specialist, and Three small Tiberhum Crystals.

The leader of the Brotherhood of Glob, the supposedly immortal Cane, was apparently plotting his takeover for centuries before the Kyberium comet landed on earth, spreading the dreaded crystals everywhere. Traces of the Brotherhood of Bold have been noted centuries ago across the entire planet, and even within the high ranks of the now collapsed Suviet Onion.

[Bonus]
Khaine can be seen here, in front of some of his loyal soldiers, joyfully executing a journalist, captured in a Tyburium extraction plant and suspected of being a GDI (Gobel Defence Inchoactive)-affiliate, and probably planning some war propaganda. This journalist here is rather rude, as while everyone is trying to make the event joyful and laughing cheerfully, he is actively screaming, which is quite annoying.

I'm somewhat satisfied with it myself, but it's eventually going to have to go through at least a partial redesign whenever I have the time and money to tinker around (because I have something like 7 of those hardsuits, I really do need to post my army, it's fairly large and I'll eventually redesign it all, so I might as well have pics saved for posterity). They fall apart a lot and are somewhat frustrating to pose, with the arms falling off a lot because they're barely attached on the 4L bar going through and serving as the hinge point of the entire front.

I do intend to try to keep it as short as possible while still having a complete minifig inside of it, however.

[BM23] HateCops Battlepack

Post by Eliphaser » Wed Jun 07, 2023 12:08 pm

In the middle of the woods, an innocent citizen calls for help! His friend has been murdered in the car while he was away!
Will anyone come help him?

Image

As the unfortunate civilian desperately calls for assistance, two small patrol vehicles appear!
The witness sighs in relief at the sight of police officers. They will surely catch the loose murderer!

Image

Horror! These were no regular cops, they are the HateCops™. Their moto is to shoot first and never consider asking questions. They are the latest form of law enforcement in the autocratic state of Systemland, replacing the previous police forces. This poor citizen was sadly unaware of this. A fatal mistake, as the HateCops dismount and immediately shoot the unsuspecting civilian.

Image

Investigating the corpse of their fresh target, and purposefully ignoring the dead person in the house, they decide that he was the killer, ruling out the bother and making paperwork easier, as nobody cares about a dead minifig or two.

Image

Alas! The real murderer appears, it's a well-armed Deadly SpaceMan! As the Icon of Destruktion takes the HateCops by surprise and shoots at them, one of them successfully dodges, however dooming one of the other agents, in a direct path with the raygun.

Image

While they may have dodged the raygun attack, the HateCop agent gets quickly dismembered by an Orange Transparent Chainsaw! The remaining HateCop tries to aim and shoot at the SpaceMan, as the MurderSniper flees to the furthest, safest RoadRage™ patrol vehicle.

Image

As the helpless remaining HateCop gets decapitated by the SpaceMan, the MurderSniper™ turns the vehicle around, cries in the Walkie about how mean the countryside is, and successfully makes an escape.

Image

Here is my last minute entry for the New Faction category of the Battlepack Mayhem contest.

The pack in question is a group of classic town-style corrupt, hyperviolent beat cops; the HateCops™. Serving the corrupt autocratic state of Systemland since the last revolution it underwent (really not long ago), they are the fighting arm of the state against its most dangerous enemy, the people.

The content of the pack is as follows:
  • Three HateCops armed with PainGuns. They are essentially a militarised police force that shoots people on sight for not respecting curfew (which is permanent in the current Systemlandian indefinite Martial law).
  • A single MurderSniper, armed with a Sniper Rifle. The perfect choice to oppress a population from far away and assassinating insurgents and evil socialists like the now-justfully eliminated Garl Max.
  • Two RoadRage light patrol vehicles. These are ridiculously cheap to build, are completely disposable, and can transport two disposable agents of the Law. Unlike what their name implies, they aren't particularly well suited to crush civilians, but if the passenger has any kind of heavy weapons, this issue can be fairly easily solved.
