Haha, the Red decal outfit and bluetacked on shoulderpads wouldn't be sooo hard but the end result being a success rests on the white socks IMO. I couldn't attempt animating this but I do believe there is a Lego version already.

I was going to buy some skellies too, but I don't know if I like those straight skeleton arms. Sure they are better than the old ones because you can position them (I think), but I'm not sure if I like them (which doesn't mean I don't like this, that last pic was hilarious )

if you put a very small ruberband (any kid with braces has some) under a old skellie's arms, they can be positioned however you want and it will stay there.

Believe it or not Lincoln's hat is an old pen lid from a black indelible marker. Look around, anything can be useful for Lego. I used a white sticky label, drew out and coloured the stars and stripes the way I wanted and stuck it on. I did this when I was like 14 or something so it has lasted well, thanks for asking.

EDIT: I've always done my own decals too using the same white sticky labels and mostly pen and colouring pens to get the look I want. It's really easy to do. Use old torso's or ones with their design worn off otherwise the stickers glue might strip it. Same with faces.

The straight arms aren't ideal, but they are cheap on Lego's Pick A Brik site. I will get a better Skeleton for Lincoln later, but for the others I think this will do (Good tip for the arms Piltogg, cheers). I think the straight arms makes them look like they are slow and stiff when they walk, which suits my needs for now.

Heh, reminds me of a mate's army the consisted entirely of the minions from the Alpha Team sets. Was pretty intimidating to fight. Especially with my rag-tag bunch rebels. Nothing like 30 or so range-enhanced rifles to ruin your day.
Cool army, wish I had that skellies. I do love a good undead horde.
