Double turns or better, you say? Okay so yeah, let's set up some ladders: one to cross the river and make a bridge to the weak wall section (or anywhere else with a hole blown in it), one to go up and over the wall.

Sorry guys, my internet went out for a few days.

I'll try to tie up the defenders for a bit before the main assault.

Have Rayho switch places with one of the Gryphon riders, because there's no reason for him to dick around on a horse. Also make sure he looks super awesome while jumping onto it. Then have everyone move and sprint forward (going around Stalin's forces if they have to). Rayho is going to make a beeline to Sir Dogdu on his new flying steed, using any movement he needs to get to him. If he can reach him, see what he can do about that cage.

If the catapults can get in range, have them fire at the poorly repaired hole in the wall, assuming the larger catapults haven't blown it open already. If they have, then just fire at any defenders on the wall.

Have Rayho's Mom use her wind magik to throw the heavy infantry onto the wall, and have them attack any defenders they can when they get up there.

Have the archers move into the hole if it's opened and fire at anything inside. If it's not open, just shoot at the dudes on the wall.

Have the gryphon knight (now regular knight) run up to the gate at challenge anyone who dares fight him to come out and do it.

Have the other gryphon knight (still a gryphon knight) fly above the wall and see what he can do about getting into the gatehouse and getting it open.

I'll see if I can get any of my guys working on this too after ladders go up.

Which this round I expect none.
As I'm collating orders to start moving dudes around here, I want to make a quick note about Leaders' "Inspire" ability - it acts as an Instant Benny every turn, so it can be used for stuff like boosting a minifig's attack, but also consider stuff like Inspiring a squad to move +1d6" faster or a catapult making a difficult shot with +1d6 Skill or something. Shouldn't be a big deal just yet, but I imagine maneuvering will become more important once things start cooking.

There are three Rainbow faction Leaders: King MethHouse, Commissar Lt. Kruschev, and Rayho's Mom. If any of them are killed, your Enemies will get to anti-Inspire you.

Cool, didnt think it would effect an entire squad for moves, good to know.

But no, I wont be inspiring any movement yet, so they can get to the wall before the catapults can shoot.
Just means a missed shot destroys an entire friendly squad, but I expect that is going to happen anyway.

I think its hilarious how everyone that's given orders thinks they can order around my units.

My orders for Rayho and Stalin.
Take a big dump, thus inspiring your forces, then sculpt chess pieces from the poo and play a game of chess.
I heard Russians like playing chess.

Probably just misinterpreting - Rayho has his own "catapults" to order around, IVasscus has his own "siege units" (I assume he meant the ladder crews?), and Dogdu really is commanding some of your non-siege ground forces (since otherwise I don't have a whole lot of purple guys for his army, and it was part of the original storyline in any case). Stalin's attempt to communize the arbalest is being handled as a Communist Feat (ref: Arkbrik, 2009).

Ah, ok.
Its just that they were all standing on my lawn so I assumed the worst. :fist:

Looks like just one guy doesn't want to be appointed King.
